And it's still the GREATEST era in professional wrestling/WWE. No matter how terrible or cringe things were during the Attitude Era. You can't help at how entertaining it was. The top stars, the mid carders, the commentary, the storylines, feuds, promos, segments & matches. Every week we were all glued to the TV to keep watching what's going to happen next. There will never be another era like the Attitude Era. And it's sill and always will be better than today's wrestling. Even in the future of wrestling. It can't be topped! And let us not forget how huge the ratings were. Merchandise/toy sales. Crazy how wrestling will never be this good again.

I just did it recently to relive it as I was only like 5 when I happened and I do remember a lot of it, but a lot was also fuzzy. It still holds up today.
Sable vs Jacqueline bikini contest, Sable vs Debra nightgown contest, Miss Rumble contest are definitely one of the greatest story lines ever. The hardcore title had great story lines. I'm surprised this didn't end with Rock and Austin. Great video 👍👍

Pre Rock, when Farooq had the group and it was more diverse, I was a fan. 96-97 multicolor NOD was better than 97-98 all Black NOD in my opinion.

It was a big group started by Farooq and was multicultural with Black's, Hawaiians, whites, and Puerto Ricans. As such The one feud I would stick in here that I think also very much to find a certain period of the attitude era would be the rock and triple h. You kind of covered the first bit of it by talking about how DX feuded with the nation. That led to that pretty great ladder match for the intercontinental title. But once Mick Foley was done fighting triple h, and Steve Austin was out of the picture for a year, the biggest battle was between triple h and The Rock. I would probably put that one in instead of Eddie Guerrero and Chyna

The Attitude era would never have existed had it not been for WCW/NWO. WWF/WWE was losing in ratings and had to come up with great storytelling, and because of this they defeated WCW. I believe the Attitude Era really came to a close when Vince bought WCW, after that if feels like they stopped trying, no real competition, even ECW folded and Vince bought up their assets. For a while WWE wasn't good, but thankfully there has been a resurgence in the last few years.
I noticed he completely missed out the Rocks popularity sky rocketing during 00. Making the Rock the most popular the business had ever seen. He alone took the wrestling industry to mainstream media. I always think of WMX8 as being the end of the attitude era. Austin leaves right after and then Rock becomes Hollywood. Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Randy Orton show up after this Mania too. To me it feels like the perfect place to end the Attitude Era and bring in the Ruthless Aggression Era.

Corporate Rock was my favorite wrestler in WWF at the time it was happening and I was frustrated by how quickly it ended and Rock was turned face again.

I Miss The Attitude Era Wrestle With Andy
I always think of WMX8 as being the end of the attitude era. Austin leaves right after and then Rock becomes Hollywood. Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Randy Orton show up after this Mania too. To me it feels like the perfect place to end the Attitude Era and bring in the Ruthless Aggression Era.
