Except slower and way less tech… this appears to have the same rider aids as the 2018-2023 models. At least it’s cheaper.
@@ducfan9546 yes, but honestly for me tech only means more stuff that can break, and i think the old one had a good enough TC, and i think 150 hp is more than enough for the street, didnt the v2 streetfighter have 150hp as well?
@@ducfan9546 I wouldn't say slower, its only 8hp difference. For sure cheaper and a very smart choice.

@@Peperonsski This tech is well proven reliable. Every Ducati has had it since 2019 and Honda uses it on the CBR1000/600Rs and Africa Twins. If Honda puts it on off-road bikes I’d trust it on any other Honda.
The current hornets look like they take design elements from all other popular manufacturers and combine it... but IMO they incorporate the aero elements really well into their designs.....

CB 1000R doesn't lack anything. It's a different bike for a different ride style. It's roughly as if you brought a chopper to a discussion over sportbikes.
@@zniesmaczony having owned one I thought it would be on par with the Suzuki GSX-S1000 or Kawasaki’s Z1000 but it wasn’t. I don’t know what Honda’s intentions were for the CB1000R apart from its looks. Hopefully the new hornet will have a sting 🐝
@@Adammmmmdon89 of course it wasn't. Because, like I said, Honda's intention was not to build another hyper naked bike. They aimed to build a motorcycle that resembles their old school bikes, thus the name Neo Sports Cafe. If you didn't like it, the new Hornet should be something more suitable for you. Having had a CB650R I can't wait to get my hands on the CB1000R. And this is happening on Saturday!

Like a first generation of CB 1000R neocafe this looks really good, waiting for performance stats (200hp fireblade engine with short gearing would be amazing)
But its not the first generarien of CB 1000 R right? Its the first CB Hornet if I’m correct! Waiting for performance too, but it looks bad ass with that 4 cylinder
They have a different tuned version of the 2017-2019 fireblade engine in it. So expect about that.

How about an SP version that gets all the bling from the Fireblade SP? Sometihg to rival the M1000R. Now that would be a Honda I would buy.
The single sided swing arm was the only thing that made the bike special and stand out. That’s the part you decide to remove. MT is ugly but sounds amazing, Z H2 got power for days. And some others are gorgeous, but expensive. The bike is back to being a Basic B right now. 🤦🏾♂️ Com’on Man.

As an owner of a Gen 1 CB1000RA I like the return to more angular styling.
I see Honda have launched the less powerful CBR600RR with IMU as standard. I also note that Suzuki feature IMU technology on their 2024 GSXS1000. Hopefully this has not been overlooked for the 2024 CB1000 Hornet as it was on the launch CB750 Hornet.

I prefer the minimalist styling of the cb1000r. Love the look, reminds me of the ducati monsters with the traditional round headlight.
Hornet looks too much like a transformers bike. Don't like the front end.

Ok, so it's part MT-10, part Z1000 and better looking than the CB1000R but it's not really anything more than a rebrand is it. I'd love to see a road bike chassic for the glorious NT1100 engine, a CBF1000 if you will. It could be a parts bin special and would only need a non trailie frame. Hey ho.

The Hornet name sounds sharp but this i don't know what to say..The CB1000R neo cafe looks better compared tho this.The headlight design for me is like comes from Z1000 and Ducati streetfighter..The tail is wide,much wider compared to blade.I hope after 2 years i will see a new design,better and looks futuristic.the rate of the design for me is 4/10,sorry Honda but i'm expecting your patent design but in the end it looks ugly same to the Hornet 750.Hype on the patent design but ugly in real life

The designers did a horrible job with the front. Did they thought about the screen at the end of their design process and were like "ah we don't change the rest, lets just put it on top"
Seems like every other manufacturer does the same on their naked bikes too. IMO I think they want to sell add on windscreen protectors.
Osjmee : the screen on top looks cool. It is just a matter of taste.
For real? Imagine the bike without the screen, it would be a great front, very stylish. Everything would fit perfectly together. The screen is screwed on top of the frame with no connection to the rest of the body. It's breaking all of the lines of the design and not in a helpful way.@@lensoprezole5322

Honda looked at the best selling naked middleweight, the Yamaha MT07 a bike that generated huge sales figures based mainly on it massive fun factor and low price, Then Honda simply made the hornet 750 cheaper, BUT.... better in every way and even more fun. If the Hornet 1000 can generate the same amount of fun by turning off the traction/ wheelie control to match the MT09's fun then I want one now, because Honda will add better feel, better brakes, better EVERYTHING... but if the Hornet 1000 is comapable to the Suzuki Gsx S1000 (an epic bike with 150 bhp for the last 10 years) that is fast and refined and does everything well but just lacks the fun factor found in the Hornet 750 it is not for me.
