So obviously Ezzie likes her some Metallica! That shows excellent taste, I do too! First time I saw them live was back in the 80’s! Keep up the good work young lady! And mum, you’re obviously doing a fine job raising her right!
You remind me of my daughter when she w a little girl. She grew up hearing music from the 60'sthrough now. When she was a year old she had trouble going to sleep,I would take her,put her into the car seat, and crank up Metallica, and drive around. In no time she would calm down and go to sleep. Keep on with your musical journey, there is so much more to discover.🤘🤘🤘🤘
This song was ground breaking. At first Lars didnt understand why continue with the 4/4 but the arrangement was in James’ head. Simple yet powerful. Embellished by the bass intro from the late great Cliff Burton. Check out the live version from Day On The Green 1985. Also inspired by Ernest Hemingway novel of the same title
Yay, a new one! You guys are rocking! I like it because when you are in the mosh pit, it gives you time to breath! I am getting way too old to mosh anymore anyway. Keep safe!
It would be cool if you reacted to metallica live in Moscow in 1991 it's crazy. and ozzy osbourne in 1981 with randy rhoads it's very sad what happend to randy but he was a great guitar player.
Hi angel. Great vid. Actually liked this one (cant believe I said that lol) and liked the bell. It actually made me think of Tumbledown Mountain and the Falklands Well done again🙂👍💕
This is one of those situations where the song title is what it is about. James is very read. It’s literally about For Whom the Bell Tolls, the novel. They also made 3 songs about the Cthulhu Mythos (and one instrumental): 1) the thing that should not be 2) all nightmare long (technically the hounds of tindalos which wasn’t written by lovecraft but is considered part of the mythology) 3) dream no more
Wow great reaction again, you just got yourself a subscriber and a little advice if want to really appreciate metallica even more check out any song of their live performance in Seattle 1989
If you ever want to react to a live performance of metallica might I suggest "and justice for all" in seattle 1989. Its a great performance. Love your channel
Great reaction. I think you would like The Outlawed torn from S&M. Metallica played with san francisco symphony orchestra and it's amazing. Lovely dress btw.
Great reaction. Please please please react to the live ‘85 version of this song featuring the great late and beloved Cliff Burton. He was their early bass player that helped develop their sound in their early days. He passed away tragically at a young age but is still a fan favorite (definitely my favorite). He was such a force on stage and if you watch the link below you will see what I mean. Here’s the link: th-cam.com/video/qdlQyNe_9tE/w-d-xo.html You will not be sorry 😊 Oh and it’s kinda funny to see how young Kirk and James look, can’t really see Lars behind his drums though. 😃
Great reaction ladies , just a little back ground info , the song is based on the Ernest Hemingway novel of the same name. Also the beginning solo is all done on the bass guitar by Cliff Burton, who is one of the best bassists to ever play a cord. Suggestion off the same album, Metallica - Creeping Death live in Moscow '91 . You might recognize the song message and it's done in front of 1.6 mil people . One of the largest crowds ever!
@@gianwinters no I mean this : For Whom the Bell Tolls is a novel by Ernest Hemingway published in 1940. It tells the story of Robert Jordan, a young American volunteer attached to a Republican guerrilla unit during the Spanish Civil War. As a dynamiter, he is assigned to blow up a bridge during an attack on the city of Segovia.
Agreed about it being too short, despite being a good song. Seems like it's missing a guitar solo and third verse/chorus. The outro always sneaks up on me (it's ending already??), despite having heard it hundreds of times.
Great reaction guys ❤❤ btw did u listen Metallica in 12D??? That new format I guess , you have to use the headphones to really enjoy it but is amazing. For example in that format was the first timeI listend the actuallu end of fade to black 😍 and thebells on for whom are insame, no need to talk about Cliff Burton's bass línes MINDBLOWING 😊 Anyway keep rocking, smiling and having fun miss Ezzie
@@EzzieK now go for the 12D 😅 I loved it! Nice experience. Hugs and stay awesome miss Ezzie 🙂 btw loved your tik tok account is hillarious, your mum and dad are really nice people 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
(day on the green)….since Metallica fans Cliff um all …"stranger now, are his eyes, to this mystery"......CLIFF says sarcastically..." yeah...right ' . and he is absolutely correct.
Im gonna suggest Unleash the archer: awakening Battlebeast: Eden Eluveitie :Rose for Epona Amaranthe: The Song And might i add Mum is incredible beautiful woman.
Ezzie.... do a review of 'Scars' or 'Bother' by Stonesour for me.... love you channel.... you'll love the debate with your 'Mum' about the lyrics of these songs....
Look, the elephant in the room is y’all gotta do Enter Sandman! That’s kinda the signature Metallica song. I’m older, more 4 Horseman or Creeping Death, but Sandman is their most popular song. 😎
Rip cliff burton 😢, James will be sad if he recalls the tragedy of 1986.James will be saddened when he recalls the tragedy of 1986, the life-consuming tour, the cliff died when the metallica boarded the bus, their bus hit the black ice, and slipped off the road that caused the accident, cliff was the victim of the accident
Great reaction little one, you do a great job. I would love if you could please react to Nightwish Ghost Love Score from Wacken 2013 I promise you that you will have the whole Nightwish army coming Your way and you will have a 1000 new subscribers within a week. Greatings from Denmark. Ps my daughter is 8 years old and she loves Nightwish, and the front Singer is a female 😊
If you watch live day on the green it will make sense. Metallica are a live band first rather than knocking out studio albums. Cliff was a master on the bass. RIP Cliff. Ps for something different I would love to see you react to Jinjer Pisces the live session. As soon as you do watch all the Jinjer fans watch your vid. Keep on rocking🤘
Hey Ezzie, you said you were also a big fan of Iron Maiden, any Mum Reacts with them coming up? Speaking of IM, Nita Strauss was the lead guitarist of cover band The Iron Maidens for 5 years and then became lead guitarist for Alice Cooper (I'm going to see them in Winnipeg on Nov.19, with Lita Ford opening). She released a solo album of power/speed metal instrumentals called Controlled Chaos, and since you want to be a guitar player I thought you might like to check out this video called Our Most Desperate Hour --> th-cam.com/video/yNyQpe80TRA/w-d-xo.html Maybe we'll get a Mum's Reaction to a Nita Strauss video sometime too.

For me it’s just such an unusual arrangement and lyrically it’s amazingly strong and dark. The band’s musicianship on this is hardcore.
Yay, a new one! You guys are rocking!
