That's pretty good for 29 shots. I shoot some 20 shot groups but almost always shoot 10 shot groups. 5 shots basically tell you nothing. Thanks for your time.
@@jameswahl5134 now that I’ve shot everything from 3 to 30 shot groups I’ve decided 10 shots are a good compromise. Seems like it’s just enough to give you a reasonable idea of what is going on. What kind of 20 shots groups are you getting? I’ve recently noticed Outdoor Life has been using 20 shot groups when they test a new rifle. I think the industry is starting to recognize the value of larger sample sizes. Thanks for watching.
That is pretty good 👍 I don't have any spare good ammo right now, I need it for challenge targets 😬 But when I get some more, and I remember 😂😅 I will do a couple of groups for ya 😉 Please remind me! Im getting old, lol 😂
5 shot groups by themselves are kinda useless. If you shoot 4x5 shot groups and aggregate the total ES and POI, they can be super useful. Check out his other video on the EATS target and you’ll see a great demo of why! Huge variability in both mean point of impact and group size ES from one group to another. But when aggregated together, they paint a realistic picture of the total cone of fire that the rifle system will give reliably. @thegunviking: You should be doing at least 10 shot groups. I've watched your videos, and often asked why only 5 shot groups!!! Those do nothing for a 22lr. Just like a varmint rifle should be verified with 10 shot groups minimum. On the other hand, a 30 shot group is a big waste of ammo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@lmbear I vary a bit. I asked my viewers in a poll what they wanted to see, 5 or 10-shot groups, and the vast majority wanted to see 5. But I still sometimes shoot 10-shot groups anyway

I get that. It’s been so cold here I haven’t been out much.
@Okrifleman Same here, haha. I had several videos I saved up for this winter when I can't or just don't get out to shoot 🙃
@ I’m new to this and I’ll remember that for next winter.
@Okrifleman it sure does help even in the summer when you have a couple weeks or something you're on vacation or just want to take a break.
Not bad. I usually shoot 5 shots groups, with the occasional 10 shot, but have thought about doing tests with more rounds.
