As much as I want a gritty price I just don’t see the writers even putting that much thought into the story I could see them just acting like he didn’t kill shepherd
The thing that Price has going for him is that he is Captain Price of the Special Air Service, he doesn’t have to listen to any American General, he can disagree all he wants, now if they have a problem with them the Entire NATO will have a fallout, and the US and UK could lose military alliance status which is extremely unlikely, Glad to see him have a backbone.
In a joint operation like 141 (which is a collection of operators like task force orange) it doesn't matter which country the leading officer is from, he is in command and price just killed the leader of 141
@@RAM-ez8ml Really it depends if MI6 was in on it or not. If MI6 was in on it odds are the CIA knew about it and chose to just let it happen. If so it was basically “sanctioned” and they’ll just say Shepard committed “suicide” which is likely because let’s face it guy was a huge problem for everyone creating thousands of lose ends and geo political nightmares it’s just way more convenient if he had a “tragic decline in mental health”
Lets not forget ghost. Ghost will also be Out of control Because he was more close to soap than price and gaz was I hope that ghost will be the one to kill makarov.
I don’t think the writers will put much thought into the story & death of Shepherd. The only time Price crossed the line was when he eliminated Shepherd. Anything else were difficult but necessary decisions he had to make which all happened in MW19 when they had to make an actual story. If they were to make him unhinged what will they do with GG, Gaz & Ghost, how will Graves fit in, Makarov, Valeria! THERE ARE TOO MANY “LOOSE ENDS” WITH THIS MW REBOOT SERIES!! The writers are writing with NO ENDING, & that’s a problem!!
I think that maybe price might be the main threat at some point in mw4. He most likely will go off the deep end, and I think that Ghost will turn against him. Remember in mw2 during the mission “alone” one of the dialogue options was Soap asking about Price. And then that’s where you get the famous quote “Be careful who you trust, people you know can hurt you the most” So it’s apparent that Ghost never really trusted Price, and maybe after Soap’s death Ghost will turn on Price especially if he starts doing unethical stuff. (And maybe this is a stretch but because Price was never there when the Graves betrayal happened and the fact that Graves is very similar in unhinged methods to Price. So What if Graves and Price did a little team up? So maybe Activision doesn’t put Graves in the story by him being redeemed, but rather he teams up with an unhinged Price)
The thing with Price going like that Is a Confused case honestly. On The OG Trilogy he had Contacts on The United States Delta Force and Even The SAS since TF-141 got Dismantle he needed to be a Leader of a Group of Misfits (The Loyalist along side Nikolai) The thing with The Price of The reboot Is that he Recieve orders by The CIA (Yeah, an SAS operator being leaded by American Agents) not only that, The writers make him Literally NATO's John Wick.
There's a High Chance That He Will, Soap's Death Probably Broke Him Even Tho They Barely Worked Together In MW2, it Seemed Like He Barely Cared about Soap's Death Like There was no" Oh No No No Soap! NO NO NO SOAP!, I'm Sorry...." Like Brother did not care at all Like" Yeah we got one KIA" so i don't Think That Will Break Him like Some Legos when Your Younger Brother Messes Them Up for No Reason(John i Swear To GOD u Owe Me a Lego Kit and i Owe u a Ass Whooping)
The More He Crosses the Lines of Rules of Engagement Thanks To Soap's Death and Him Gettin' Broken From It, TF141 Will Be Disavowed like the Good Ol' Days Unless Activision Wants To Take The Pussy Way of Story Telling Where They Keep it Soft and don't even Disavowed TF141 and Forget The Plot Point for No Reason
I think as a Captain, he tries to remain stoic and serious most of the time. It’s expected to have deaths in this line of work, so he isn’t surprised. 🤷♀️ not sure though
It could’ve worked had it been Gaz that died instead of Soap by Makarov. Sure Gaz wasn’t there when Captain Price caught Makarov back in 2019 before he blew up Verdansk international airport. And soaps reaction felt very emotional of him. But still. Gaz came from being a Special forces army specialist and associate of Londons Metropolitan Police to being a TF141 member and had Makarov ended up killing Gaz despite focusing on the bombs by the Chunnel. Perhaps there would be a reason why Captain Price won’t fight fair and just. That he wouldn’t give an inch to his worst enemies and deal with loose ends.
“We get dirty, and the world stays clean. That’s the mission. At the end of the day, someone has to make the enemy scared of the dark. If you’re having second thoughts, I can do this on my own.” “No sir…no second thoughts.” “Good.”
You know what I really want? Sledgehammer already looks like its begging for another shot at it.
They could easily bring back the Rangers and Delta Force from the original Trilogy in MW4 to form a Task Force under JSOC to hunt Price down for killing General Shepherd but then during the story, something happens that force the JSOC Task Force to work together with 141 and Price to hunt down Makarov. The last mission could easily be a retelling of Operation Kingfish but this time, the Operation succeeds and Makarov is killed. I want Price to suffer the consequences of murdering a sitting US General inside his own office despite the bad things Shepherd did in the past. If they just ignore the fact that Price killed General Shepherd not in self defense but in cold blood, then I'd be very disappointed.
I don't think that he will die because he's the most important character in modern warfare story but i think in the end he'll be in a maximum security prison with armed guards and security cameras that watch him 24/7
@@Daft_CobraYT i do not see it happen like that i think task force 141 will be disvowed in modern warfare 4 so price an ghost an gaz will have to fight in the shadows but price will call captain macmillion to let him know that soap is dead an that he need weapons extfil etc
i feel like price as a character isnt unhinged but broken, in the og mw at least, we see countless deaths of his friends and connections throughout the games, and in the og mw3 he's alone after killing makarov after hes got nothing left to do. Now as for the newer mw he has yet to lose as much as og price has (which i doubt we'll see) but considering the characters are more fleshed out this time i wonder how far they'll take it, if at all anywhere near the extent of og mw.
I mean og price uses a nuke to stop a nuke causing an emp over Washington and then later on uses juggernaut armour to storm makarovs hotel just to kill makarov himself
I feel the same way, which is why I wished they'd have made Makarov and Price, either former friends or allies, and Makarov sort of goes crazy due to perhaps some of his men losing their lives to a perhaps obvious trap and so when Soap goes to kill Makarov, that could have been the reason as to why Price stopped him. But unfortunately, they didn't do that, and perhaps stopped Soap because he didn't want Soap losing his career and freedom for killing Makarov, which I get, but it's also bit of a lazy way to set things up. Whenever MW4 turns up, I seriously hope it goes back to the feeling of MW2019, giving us that realistic and dark feeling again. As for Price dying? I'd say its a possibility, I mean they could do it and they wouldn't be risking their poster boy as Ghost could easily pick up for Price. But I also wouldn't be surprised if no one dies once again and only have Soap being the only friendly KIA in the entire franchise.
Just my own two cents on this: the first instance is clearly his military training. It’s the type of decisions they are specifically trained for. For the sit with Soap and Makarov I think the problem was that it was Soaps idea. Soap being impulsive and all would have been the worse man to murder Markarov because I do see Price as someone who would rather commit wrong instead of having the people under him do it. As for killing Shepherd I don’t have any fancy theory other than that he was just as done with the pos as everyone else. Pretty sure that will come back around and bite him in the a$$ in the future though. Anyway I really like that Price follows his own morals despite being in a clear chain of command. It’s just about the only way to stay human in their line of work imo. Certainly makes for good story telling. Nice vid bro!
