Ngl having Price go rogue instead of Ghost would be amazing. Having TF141 try to hunt him down in some missions and in others playing as price himself just wrecking shit would be amazing, just go ham on the war crimes
It feels like Price's lack of faith within Ghost would create a decent internal conflict dividing the task force within, similar to how Price knew Yuri worked for Makarov during the original MW3. If the next game is chasing Makarov more, Graves gets killed in a weak cutscene, and the game ends with Gaz taken out, this new MW series honestly will have lost my respect.
Price spiraling out would mirror what happened in the og trilogy. Price just wasn’t the same after they sprung him from the gulag, and that made him more unpredictable and dangerous. He felt like he had to be the one to single handedly end the war and he ended up escalating it more. I feel like we got a taste of that in this new series when Price killed Shepherd. It would be interesting to see him spiral out, but I struggle to see Ghost turning on him. Maybe he would try to step in if he thought Price was taking things too far, but i see him walking away more than turning on Price
Price was the exact same when he left the gulag don’t let shepherd gaslight you, the only problem is that new price has changed a lot, went from being a badass in mw19 to being a pushover in mwll, mwlll and technically before mw19
Possible story elements: Ghost starts to lost faith in Captain Price Gaz remains faithful to Captain Price Ghost resigns from TF141 and joins Alejandro and Rudolfo
I feel that Ghost respects Captain Price, unless something happens we haven't seen yet, he would not lose his trust in him. Off the topic, but I would love a movie or TV series centered around Task Force 141
The one thing I've noticed was that both Gaz and Soap looked as if they being mentored/groomed to take over their mentors. In MW1, you notice throughout the campaign Price is teaching Gaz what it takes to have the world "stay clean" as he says, almost as if he's grooming him for a leadership role. In MW2 you notice the dynamic has shifted away from Price and Gaz to now Ghost and Soap, this can be especially apparent when in the Kill/Capture mission Ghost is explaining to Soap why they use different tactics to try and Find General Zayani. Another clear example would be the campaign mission Alone, where Ghost yet again mentors Soap on how to survive while injured in a hostile environment while outmaneuvering a large number of enemies. In MW3, the mission Frozen Tundra is a really good example of how far Gaz's leadership skills have come along since his inception in MW1. This is very apparent when Ghost, Soap, and Price all furious finding out its Shepard they have to extract from the area only for Gaz to calm them down and make the necessary adjustments once the mission's dynamic change.
I thought from a narrative way, price should have been the first to die in the reboot. Ghost breaks away from the lone wolf and into a field commander. Gaz could be more the vengeful element, since he's been prices right hand. Soap gets promoted and has his own thing with roach
Well, what if Gaz becomes the casualty that drives Ghost and Price against each other and apart because seeing how Soap played a role in the Task Force and was primarily closer to Ghost than Price It would make sense for Gaz to fall in the same category, so that way, it could cause a rift between Price and Ghost.
@@Deathmare235 yeah but by the banter we see between Price and Gaz seems like Price took Gaz under his wing. We see the dialogue between Price and Soap is very brief, I don't recall seeing banter between them other than working together on missions.
That would mean the task force would be gone there would just be two people it's not really much of a task force if there's only two people also I don't think a task force should be only four people but whatever

It hard to say because captain price and goes has been friends for awhile so i think those two would probably work together to kill makarov but we have to wait and see
Woah... A perspective I've never thought before... Soap: What about Captain Price? If he knew, he'd be here. Ghost: The old man can't bail us out, can he? -- Be careful who you trust, Johnny. Soap: What about Alejandro? Ghost: Alejandro you can trust -- --- --- Ghost: Right now, Laswell, Shepherd, and everyone else outside this room are considered as hostile. Rudy: With one exception. Soap: Alejandro... Ghost and Soap like and trust Alejandro Vargas more than Captain Price!!!
I bet a few missions later, Ghost leaves 141, establishes the real ghost team of his own. Also, if activision would bring back soap, its gonna be the Nikto arc
@Deathmare235 hahaha lol i know it's a dumb theory, but I'll try to explain what Nikto Arc is in my own terms...basically amnesia, with a bit of personality change to the character after a coma or head injury or something...either way, decent concept idea
Unrelated to the vid but if Shepherd had told Price you think he would’ve cared? No obvi. bc Farah is Price’s friend & allies with the US Price literally kidnapped the Butcher’s wife & kid he wouldn’t care Idk why Price didn’t just tell Shepherd he wouldn’t have cared if Shepherd had told him about the missiles before they were stolen back in MW2 with that laptop cutscene the betrayal wouldn’t have happened & Shepherd would still be alive obvi. & like Price said in that MW cutscene in the cop car.
