Does the Real estate agents in London accept payments using Forex cards for first month rent and deposit payments?
Hdfc is the worst choice so far as forex card is concerned. My daughter's forex card is still unactivated even after 7 days, and in the meantime, we have approached hdfc two times, personally, after taking leave from office. Pathetic service by hdfc.

For making an Initial Deposit or for paying tuition fees to UK Uni. do we compulsory need to pay through Credit Card ? Or paying thru debit Card is ok ? Or does it differ from Uni to Uni ?
It differs from Uni to Uni; however, most will ask you to use either a credit or debit card. Your bank in India will charge you 3.5% of your deposit amount as an exchange/conversion fee as well. I highly recommend you email the Income Office at your University and ask if a Bank Transfer can be done directly to the University's bank account. The exchange rates are way cheaper with this alternative. With tuition fee payment, ensure you do it in separate installments (check if this is allowed at your Uni) as anything more than 7.5 lakhs will cost you a huge TCS margin.

Hello Ritwik, Nice information. So your specs gone permanently. Though I took time to adjust my memory without specs but I am sure you must be feeling little free. We have filed ours VISA on 18 Aug but no news so far. I know you mention I can ignore SMS services but there I got hypnotize I guess & I took SMS n Courier both. Off course Scanning at VFS was wise suggestion and I liked it a lot n it was quick too. While waiting for VISA, I want to inform about booking covid test for my daughter & for myself too as tourist & I want to opt for Day 2 & Day 5 test so that I can finish my quarantine early rather waiting for 10 days in hotel room and can catch up with my daughter so please consider me as well while making video on booking covid test. I am sure, lot many parents also watch your informative video. Thanks & Good Luck.

Can i convert existing currency (like dollar, pound) from my hdfc forex card into INR or other currencies.
How the activation went? Did they sent any otp? Bcs I am traveling tomorrow and my card isn't activated yet. I got an HDFC Forex card from Pune VFS but currently don't have any HDFC account. Is it necessary to have an account to activate the Forex card? Or card can be loaded or activated by HDFC branch via other way?

@@Dream_UK no I am talking about HDFC bank I tried to transfer money to my owner London acc through net banking but it was not successful. Just thought of checking if you have experienced the same. For university and visa I paid using my debit card but when I tried for acc to acc transfer it didn’t happen. In future also if any of us need to transfer how are we suppose to do that until we open an UK bank account. 2-3 months we need to open an acc since we have to collect NI card, BRP and house document to get bank acc. Just let me know if you know any alternatives
Did you try wire transfer to the account of your owner? You'll need swift code to make the payment and also visit the bank branch.
@@Dream_UK yes she provided me swift code and all the details. In HDFC there is an option for international transfer there you have to add beneficiary acc but there was multiple option which I sent to my owner only few we got n rest we couldn’t fill it.
@@Dream_UK here in India we use google pay, phone pay other different method to transfer money. Do you know any apps that works there and most of them use to for contact less transfers other than card payment any online apps?

Better to know whether any charge is there like inactivity fee. I took Indusind bank forex card 2 years back and due to lockdown I couldn't travel to abroad till now. They taken around 25$ as inactivity fee. No positive respond from bank for refund.
