I am moving to UK next month and I have got a current account opened in ICICI Bank UK app while I am in India with only a selfie and a passport within 5-10 min. I have got my account number to share with my employer to receive my settlement allowance.

Normal Visa's taking longer to get approved. Like 30 days. Email your university about this so they will advise you.

I did my biometrics on 3rd August and still havent gotten my visa. After doing paid enquiry, it said a decision has been made, but still no update to pick up the passport? How long should I wait? Also, if there were a rejcection, I would ideally get an email from ukvi when the decision has been made right? This delay could be due to technical issues?

Yes sbi international debit card is expensive as it charges you. Best way is to open the account in UK and make the payment easily

Every university in UK starts in September buy very few of them offers jan intake. So September is always better

Hi, I am coming to University of Edinburgh on 13th this month to study MSc structural and fire safety engineering. I just want to know the list of original documents that I need to submit to the university when I join ( documents like - undergrad degree and marksheets, 12th and 10th marks heat etc ).
I don't remember submitting any of such docs to the university. Although I carried all originals with me. You can do the same. University will email you all the details! Don't worry 😃

Students may apply for a student oyster card if you are living in london where you can get a good discount on your journey.

Hi, Thanks for this video. Can a couple with a 2-year-old baby boy live in a 1BHK flat in the UK or does they need to take 2 BHK? Also how do we manage India market investments like mutual funds, PPF from UK and can we continue using indian SIM? We will need it for net banking OTP's etc?
To my knowledge, you need by law to take a 2BHK, 1 room dedicated for the baby.
You could do all that investment stuff, provided if you are NRI then, there is a procedure to inform your Demat service... like Zerodha etc.
Not sure about the OTP and mobile stuff, someone else might be able to help, if they know.
Adding to Pabitra's reply, you can use Indian sim card in the UK to receive OTPs. Keep recharging the sim on a timely basis so that it doesn't get deactivated

1.Creating and using UK bank account is always better option than forex. 2. And you must carry min 500 pounds in forex when you arrive in uk
