So glad it meets your expectations! That handle is a bit different shape than the others that I have done, just a bit more hand filling. Video turned out great! Good to see your videos back up. I can almost smell that OCHOCO fat wood! I have a pc that I got when I was there that is so dense and hard I can barely scrape it!
Beautiful custom work!! You didn’t even talk about the awesome leather sheath. I assume that was custom as well as they usually have that nylon one with the plastic insert. Need to show that closer. Great video as always!
I am ready to get a Becker, but I'm not sure which would be most useful here in Ohio for bushcraft outings. I think the BK7 and 9 would be too big. I like the size of this one a lot!
For carving, the 16 is excellent. I think you would really enjoy it, but definitely upgrade the handles. Sagebrushcustoms@yahoo.com, or The Knife Connection.
Nice looking knife. I don’t own a Becker yet. I recently got a Esee 5. I have been working with it lately and I’ve combined it with one of their carbon steel fire strikers and my local chert and quartzite for a fire kit. I do have a question for you. Do you have a particular strop set up you like and works for you?
I love using my Esee's, . A BK16 ( customized) makes a great addition to the collection. As far as stroppping, I use a Spyderco Sharpmaker with the ultra fine rods, which have to be purchased separately. The edge is so fine that if I strop it it actually removes some of the edge. So I no longer strop, but throw my Sharpmaker in my pack when I am out for more than a a day or two.
THANK YOU! Cool that you noticed. Have lost 36 pounds since January. Actually planning a video in the near future about what I have been doing to get myself in better condition.
Thanks for the request. I was out with Covid in January, so my video making has been none. Recovering now, so a sharpening video from home might just be the perfect way to get started again. We'll see what I can do. Thanks.
Big respect for turning down a paycheck to spare us a vid on useless crap. Love your authenticity :)
Thank you so much!

THANK YOU! Yes, Mark also made the Sheath, I will have to give a closer look in another video.
Nice Knife, Thumbs up 👍
I've never use a BK knife before but I think I'm going to have to fix that problem. Great video. Stay safe.
They are a great little knife, but definitely upgrade the handles.

Great video. BTW, you look super healthy. Maybe some weight loss? Either way, keep up the great content. Cheers from Canada!
