Just splashed my life savings on the gofundme page.. Granted it’s not much as I lost it all betting on the switchsports volleyball match… but hopefully this means the future generations won’t suffer with downgraded graphics for MK8D
The only reason why I’m getting it is because im desperate for Mario kart content, even tho I really wish we got Mario kart 9 but sadly we gotta wait another few years…
Video games = business/money. Its not about how you feel about graphics/art style etc. From a business point of view its the right move. Why make a whole new game when this one is still selling well?
Agreed but theres different approaches they could’ve taken with the DLC for example Mario Kart 8 for Wii U got DLC, two packs of 8 courses (original graphics) for $7.99 which also included characters and 4 new vehicles. In my personal opinion I think they should of stuck with this format for DLC instead of the shift to tour tracks. Quality is better than quantity all we can do is see the reception once it’s released
Switch Sports could have been much better. I don't know why the decided to add volleyball and badminton which are similar to Tennis. The football game seems kinda bad and they shouldn't have removed baseball.
The DLC is $25, cry about it You get what you pay for Regardless of how big of a company they are, no one is going to make top-of-the-line graphics for cheap
You’re talking about one of the biggest companies in gsming... and $26 is almost half the cost of the game itself, there’s no excuse for them to be porting tracks from a MOBILE game as dlc for a CONSOLE game, when they could very easily upgrade the graphics to better match the rest of the CONSOLE game

All the same movements with a lackluster series of games. Baseball was one of the best strange choice for sure
