Hey man, just found your channel. Im having trouble picking a turbo for my ALH. Its a 2.0L, mech pump, 12mm rotor, .216 nozzles. Its going to be running in a 73 beetle (see my channel, had an AAZ in it before). I planned on getting a t3 exhaust manifold for a larger non-vnt turbo, i actually want some boost lag. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I run the Holset HE200WG 5CM on the CJ. I'm not very smart when it comes to the WG turbos if I'm honest.

@@TDISwap appreciate the honesty. I might do something simple like a gt22 or gt25

@@joeysprojects9081 I would think you would want some bigger injectors then. I run 280s on both my engines and that will help you spool and reduce engine clatter.

@@TDISwap gotcha. .216 was the biggest nozzle size available at the time

@@joeysprojects9081 Understandable. My suggestion is to get bigger if you feel like the clatter is a little much.
When I installed the 12MM mTDI pump that I have on the CJ w/ the 280s the clatter was crazy (but it's also a tin can with no insulation, carpet, doors, roof, etc, lol. It's much better back as eTDI.
