  • Hello there, fellow adventurers! Welcome to our channel, where we're about to embark on an electrifying journey into the world of boating. Today, we have something truly exceptional to share with you: The Alfastreet 28 Cabin Electric Boat. Prepare to be amazed by its sleek design, incredible features, and, of course, the revolutionary battery power that propels this vessel. Let's dive right in!"
    DRIVING EXPERIENCE:
Let's begin with the journey itself. While the electric boat's 7.8 kn or 14.5 km/h top speed allowed us to easily pass sailing boats on the Heegermeer, our greatest speed was not sufficient to catch up to faster vessels. The Alfastreet Marine 28 Cabin Electric is ideal for short journeys on lakes and canals, as its speed is just right for these purposes. The peace and quiet improves not just the quality of the drive, but also the passengers' level of comfort. This is true of all electric boats and electric yachts, but the unique hull design of this one makes for some fun spray. Traditional inboard propulsion is used instead of a sterndrive. As a result, the electric boat does not immediately respond to steering inputs, although this is appropriate for the slow pace at which it travels.
    RANGE AND CHARGING:
At a speed of less than 5 knots, you can travel 64 kilometres in 7 hours of operation time. The prototype employs 8 AGM batteries totaling 260Ah (3.1 kWh). You round up to 25 kWh as a group. You can go for about 1.7 hours or 24.2 kilometres at top pace. At 5 km/h (around 2.7 kn), the maximum range is 73.5 km, which equates to 14.7 hours of travel time. In addition, the battery life and remaining driving time are always displayed on the dashboard screen. At 70% discharge, the 2 kW charger takes 8 hours to fully charge, whereas the 1 kW charger takes twice as long. The numbers don't seem like much, but keep in mind that this boat isn't made for speedy transoceanic transit. Thus, the values can be used as intended.
    COMFORT:
The roof enhances comfort. It makes starting the Alfastreet Marine 28 Cabin electric boat easy and prevents theft. No tarp is needed because the roof may be lowered fully. Thieves would also have to raise the hardtop before escaping. An extra remote control lets you easily raise it from the dock and drive it in under a minute. On our Heeg test drive, the hydraulic roof was useful for low bridges. Driving controls reduce it simply. The roof costs 15,900€ more.
    Available Space:
The inside space of this electric boat was thoughtfully designed by Alfastreet Marine. As you can see, the company learned its space-saving lessons on the smaller Alfastreet Marine 18, and is now applying them to its larger boats by including features like convertible benches and sun loungers. The Alfastreet Marine 28 Cabin electric is quite similar to the combustion engine model in terms of basic architecture. The petrol engine is moved to the area under the enormous sunbed, making room for other uses, such as folding bikes or water toys. The electric version is more convenient because the motor is not exposed above deck. The foredeck, where sunbathing space is available once again, is reached through a staircase accessible through a door in the centre of the windscreen.
"And there you have it, folks! The Alfastreet 28 Cabin electric boat not only wows with its elegant design but also impresses with its cutting-edge battery power. It's a vessel that brings together performance, sustainability, and unforgettable experiences on the water. Thank you for joining us today, and we'll catch you in the next adventure. Happy boating!"

Point of interest: You keep showing the ICE power planing hull version of the boat, which is a different boat. The electric version does not plane. Do your research!
