I've cleared trees with the old 977 and 973's on bigger trees if your Operator will shove his teeth down at a 45 by the trunk to cut some roots the trees will come out easier and cleaner, enjoyed the video
I work clearing right of ways for pipelines and well pads and to me there is nothing more satisfying (work related things) than clear a path for so many miles over mountains and through valleys in the middle of nowhere..
4:15 that makes we want single bar grousers on my 973C. Chewed right out of the mud. But at the same time mine is a LGP model so my pads are wide, so i float over top of a lot. Operator will get the technique of using the machines weight to your advantage. You dont have to use leverage with a 973, when they raise the bucket up and try to push the tree over it takes weight off the tracks and then you just spin. If you tilt the bucket down, stab down at the roots and pry up, it will load the front tracks up with more weight, giving you more traction and the dual cylinder tilt will pluck the tree right out of the ground. I haven't met a tree i wasn't able to push that way yet. You can get efficient and once you pluck the tree out, while it's falling over. Turn and drive forward, and you can drop the tree to the side. clearing the path for you to drive forward to the next tree.
That thing works wonders especially with that four in one Bucket i ran my friends 943 we use to klear land demo houses stuff like that an i got to say i loved that machine it's a all purpose machine
you can sift out the larger roots w/ the teeth, also shake out dirt, open clam to push trees from over from better angle if it doesnt want to go over easily, etc etc

Awesome machine . I have a Cat 963C with a 4 in 1 bucket and grapple root rake .

My dream machine. Right now my biggest piece of equipment is a cat 299d but I’d love to play in a big track machine one day
I live in Tucson, we just don't have many track loaders here. Love em
good job, greetings from Indonesia country Chanel 👍
Love me some track loader footage! Hope to see more of it soon!
Keep watching it’s coming
Never understood why these guys run with the doors open.
If the ac is broke ok but this isn’t 1960.
How is your front window guard mounted?
I like cat machines, but where I live the dealership is hard to work with and the service is hard to get when you need them sadly
Was that a j&j equipment sticker on the 330? They’re local to me in va
Sure was we rent from them from time to time
Holy shit that was painful to watch
Nice video
Thanks amigo
Awesome
What a machine
You fixin to get a root rake for that 73?
Want one bad but they are pricey and takes 6 weeks to get one
That's a Poor excuse of a OPERATOR 😂😂😂
