Are those aspens or birches? Oh how I love aspen trees. I'm new to heavy equipment. How does one know when to use a dozer as compared to a loader? It looks like this loader is doing everything that a dozer can do.
Birch trees I believe. Due to the base of the stump getting dark and rough textured. A dozer is more suited for a straight push and doing grading. Having the ability to tilt your blade to get a desired slope is an advantage. But don’t cut the track loader short. It can do almost everything a dozer can do but it may take a little longer and not have as nice of a finished product. There’s also many things that the loader can do that the dozer cannot so apples to oranges. I would chose a loader every time if I was starting my business again.
It was a little tight in the video it seems, maybe that was causing the tracks to bounce on the one side. I followed the CAT SIS procedure and may have overdone it a little bit. Thanks for watching.
I'd love to run a 73 some day. When I get on the 63 from the 53, it makes the 53 seem like a skid steer. I can only imagine being on top of the world in a 73.
Great content! Who ever done it is pretty good, a pro!👍🏾
Nice machine. Making fence line clearing great again.
Thanks, trying my best to keep it looking good being a bush machine.
Great machine but need a 4in1 bucket to grab the trees general purpose bucket is nice but 4in1 is a better
I’ve never operated with a 4 in 1. But I have used a 755k with a ripper and it was nice to be able to break hard pan.

Tracks look a little too tight. Really like this machine.

Not much can stop a 973 if you know how to use it.
