HA omg I remember this fight at launch. It was practically impossible. You spent most of your time gearing up Kira and then she gets taken away and your forced to use T7 who has no gear. Vitiate literally bitch slaps your droid and you're forced to LOS him behind the pillars and sneak in a few shots when your interrupt is back or he would like 2 shot you with his cast and he casted it alot. felt so amazing when I finally beat him. It really felt like a epic battle.
@@julianG1212 I fight without armor, using outfit to avoid being nude. It makes fights very difficult. I'll usually have a set of weakish armor for normal leveling and story, but I take off armor during boss fights.
Tell you the truth this fight made no sense to me because Vitiate has literally beaten multiple people sometimes all at once more powerful then this guy a thousand time's more powerful so it makes no sense that he lost unless he let him win.

The Emperor face doesn't look so evil, he looks almost calm. Also it's weird the developers chose Qui Gon/Padme's funeral theme for the death of one of the most powerful and evil sith lords in the entire SW history
I wish all class end battles had this. A unique version of planets just for the boss battles. Then We could at least not have pathetic Level 10 battles with supposedly Dangerous enemies.
I think it's only really Warrior and Inquisitor that have this problem, especially because both were building up to the fight from the start of Chapter 2 so it's all the more underwhelming. Knight and Trooper probably have the best final bosses / missions. Which is ironic, considering they're generally considered the 2 worst stories in the game.
As a sith lord, Vitiate is the strongest and most influential, IMO. The guy TURNED REVAN, INSPIRED BANE, and FORCED THE ESSENCE TRANSFER OF OVER 9K SITH (i know it's 8k, but couldn't resist the Dragonball ref). However, the execution of this conclusion is lazy and rushed. Hopefully the KOTOR: Reboot addresses this, and gives Vitiate his due. In a lot of ways, Palps owes every strategy in his arsenal, via Bain, to Tenabrae. Moreover, the "Emperor's Lament" portion of Palp's theme that plays during this fight, is a nice touch that links the OT to the Old Republic. Ergo, with better writing, and with an actual damn given for the impact of plot progression, SWTOR's era will rival that of the Skywalker's (No, not you, Rey.*sigh*)
Vitiate was certainly one of the most powerful. And definitely the most powerful when it came to rituals, which he abused the absolute hell out of. But power wise, in an actual fight, he doesn't really compare to EU Sidious. Especially not Dark Empire Sidious.
I was a bit disappointed by this fight, though I'm sure it used to be harder in the vanilla version. Still, trying to rationalize this... Firstly, Jedi Knight had beaten Scourge, so we know he's stronger than 300-year-old Scourge, at least. Second, Vitiate did just lose his previous body out of necessity, so his powers were still recovering. As Valkorion, he did have all of Ziost's energy inside him. Still, I liked his Vitiate persona. I just wish they showed him more powerful in this fight, like when he enslaved their minds earlier. That was more like him.
SaraKpn He was a lot harder in vanilla. Dude could’ve really fucked you up or even one shot if your gear wasn’t good enough. Now you can probably beat him at mid 40’s or even lower if you’re good enough.
He was way cooler as Valkorion. He barely had a personality, or screen time as Vitiate. Far less fleshed out, and mostly just a Eeeeeeeevil bad guy. Besides, compared to the fight the Sith Warrior had with the Voice, this one was nothing. The Sith Warrior fought a Voice that was amped by the Dark Entity. AKA Sel-Makor. Both are only voice's at the end of the day however, and while stronger than a Dark Council member, they don't compare to the real Vitiate.
@@sirgideonofnir5628 yeah, granted if Revan was at peak condition & they weren't on a darkside nexus I do generally think he would've won, because you've gotta remember that the dude had been tourted & drugged for multiple years on end & fought the emperor only a few hours later while on a darkside (Dromun Cass) nexus that weakened Revan due to his connection to the lightside & strengthened Vitiate, hell Scourge even saw timelines where Revan won his confrontation with Vitiate while in that state in a 1v1, so given all of that I do genuinely believe that Revan is stronger than Vitiate.
I think it's kind a stupid that you are able to beat Vitiate, I mean he absorbed the power of 8000 sith lords, took over his complete home planet at the age of 13, and was able to out run death for over thiusand deaths, because his connection to the force was so strong.
To be fair this was only his voice and he was in his weakend state wich is why they attacked at that time. If this was the full Emperor or even if he just wasn't weakend then the jedi knight wouldn't have lasted more than a few seconds.
And why shouldn't The Hero of Tython's connection to the Force be strong as well? Palpatine is proclaimed the most powerful Sith in history yet he didn't need to do things that Tenebrae did, he got there by training. Why couldn't the Hero of Tython do the same? Vitiate even said that he harnessed immense power.

And scourge said e gave the emperor time to gather his strength but that doesn’t mean that he was able to do it or that he gathered his full strength. The hero of tython would never be able to defeat the voice at full power during that stage of his life but post kotet e might be able to do it and this is only against the voice. If we are talking about the full powered emperor that he doesn’t stand a single chance alone. No one during this era would be able to beat him alone. Specially post ziost vitiate.

@@nothet He has only 3 main bodies, his original which died at an unknown point in time, this one which appears to be the same body used during his encounters with Revan (and presumably his oldest because Revan had been prevented from dying through being linked to Vitiate), and Valkorian, which was in use alternatively with this one after defeating Revan. The others were either used briefly, or allowed to function independently as more of a minion than a part of himself. It's to the point that the Emporer's rebuilding psyche doesn't even bother linking them to his identity, as the others were more like one of the servants he could possess at anytime than a part of himself.

The Emperor is one being that is not worth showing mercy too. I like the option to kill him even though he survives then. I would have done the same, the guy was trying to devour the whole galaxy. Like the knight said, he's a threat to every living being in there. He had to go, if he wouldn't surrender the best option to kill him. Sometimes mercy is too overrated, and in this case it was.
Not impossible, inevitable. Seriously, you just need to use your stuns, interrupts and displacements wisely when he uses skills and you should be able to with ease.
That vermin would be obliterated in the face of an ancient Sith. Sidious is little more than a child still wetting his diapers compared to the prowess of the old sith masters.
Spoilers to Fallen Empire below: I love that this was Vitiate's plan all along. To be free of this vessel so he could complete his rivalling empire. And he got to corrupt the Republic's star Jedi/paladin to boot.
How did Revan, Scourge, and Metra fail to kill this guy? It's just insulting how pathetic this is. The book's ending wouldn't be so bad if THIS isn't what continued after.
@Lytral Nerfed pretty badly is an understatement; the companions were boosted so hard that pretty much all of the class story bosses are pathetically easy to beat
@@OkIPullUp2915 because the game has been updated so much that as long as you have level matching gear the story has no challenge at all. at launch the game was soooo much harder. Companions had fixed roles so a forced companion could mess you up. they weren't nearly as effective in their roles either. you couldn't over level and use the better gear stats to abuse him either. on top of the mechanics entirely being revampped really.

That attack is impossible to survive, you gotta interrupt it. I tried to use all damage reduction and I should survive it but it just is damage that executes you and it writes some random numbers for the sake of game needing it. He is right now super easy, I walked on him as lvl 80 knight who just nearly oneshotted him. (And I was a sage, if I was a sentinel, he probably would get oneshot by the full combo of skills. He aint as easy as Thanaton and ˇBaras but he literally cannot move your health bar now and the only thing to watch out for is the oneshot skill BUT since you can kill him in faster time than his channel lasts, its not really an issue.

I think only warrior and inquisitor do the level 10 fights because the battles have to take place in the dark council room

Wait… HOW DID YOU DO THAT SO FAST?!? That took me, like, 4 tries and that’s only because he’s 20,000 HP with an attack that does 40,000 damage.

Jedi Warrior Story zone for Dromund Kaas unique to that questline. You can't get into it on any Imperial class character.

definitely not intel hd, to play 4k you need a ryzen 9, 16gigs of ddr3 memory, and definitely at least a gtx 1080ti or a rtx 2060..
