- Arkane Lyon have dropped a massive announcement at this years Game Awards! In a collaboration with Marvel, the studio will be taking on Supernatural Vampire Hunter Blade! Here's my initial reaction!

At first, I though Arkane were reviving The Crossing lol, so excited for their Blade game.

I stayed AWAY from any news or leaks, and had no idea that this was coming. I am surprised but this concept is so on Arkane Lyon's wavelength that it's straight up a no brainer!

I'm definitely curious to see gameplay eventually but the art and tone make it seem like Blade and Arkane Lyon are a perfect match. Also really liked how excited Dinga has seemed about this!

How interesting that Arkane Studios (both of them) made 2 vampire games in a row lol
It is a little strange in a way but I think different people at Arkane had always wanted to make a vampire game and it just sort of worked out!
Both Dinga and Harvey have shared that they love Blade as a character prior to any announcement!
I really hope harveys and arkane austins next game is something they really want to make too

I was trying so hard to avoid them and thankfully I didn't have it spoiled! I knew something was going to be revealed, and when I saw Dinga for that split moment in the crowd it was confirmed. I'm so excited for a whole new Arkane adventure!!

No I absolutely didn't know! I've never been massive on Marvel. But from what I've learnt so far he seems pretty fitting for Arkane Lyon!
I'm excited to dive into the Blade movies and learn some more about our new protagonist.
@@EllyTheGeek I think a few companies would’ve done good with Blade. From Bethesda’s track record I wouldn’t trust them with Blade. I feel like it’s gonna be a Blade titles “Redfall” all over again.
@@elitedoller4958 There are definitely some great developers out there. Arkane Lyon in my opinion is particularly exceptional and I have loved every game they have created deeply.
Bethesda is publishing this game, not developing it. And Redfall was developed by Arkane Austin, and I made a big video of thoughts on that one. Nothing to do with Lyon!
@@EllyTheGeek Arkane is the overall team. It’s just split into 2 different areas. One Austin and one Lyon. Bethesda is the publisher, but they still have a say in the direction of the game. Which is why they’re publishing it. Plus being under the control of Microsoft adds another input into it. Lyon only made Deathloop if I’m not mistaken? And that game was alright. They have no choice but to deliver on Blade.
If that’s being done by Bethesda it’s gonna be a buggy mess
Bethesda is publishing the game but it is being developed by Arkane Lyon. Arkane Lyon's games have been nothing short of superb 👏
