Wow! What a fab little piece of heaven you found! That Rock is amazing.... And wonderful watching Logan and his adventures! That water looked so inviting!😊 We love our walks with you guys!😊 Thank you!
Hi Dave, thank you for a beautiful walk along the seaside. The Agglestone Rock is quite something to see. Congratulations to you and Fiver for your achievement in the 5km trail race. 44 out of 101 is excellent - well done. As usual we appreciate the walks and videos that you do for us - thanks again. Norman & Pam
What a joyful start to the video with whippet zoomies. Fairly familar ground for me as I have walked there a few times though the heathland can be confusing. I looked for Puckstone rock and found a very small rock (compared to Agglestone) but was not totally convinced it was it. Bittersweet memories of SWCP as I think now it will only be rare short revisits to it for me.
Studland is very special to me. When I was about 8 or 9 years old in 1972/73 our family holidayed here, staying in a bungalow called "Barrington" which was up the hill off of Watery Lane. We watched Prince Charles parachute out of a Hercules plane over the bay. The Studland peninsula really is one of the most stunning places on Earth !!
Thanks, another enjoyable and informative film. Loved watching Logan enjoying the beach. I walked it myself in 2020, might need to get over here again now that I am reminded how lovely it is. Thanks very much.
I missed quite a few of your early videos Dave and I am binge watching and catching up. Your format and production values are spot on and even your co-star shines. Thanks and I am sure everyone here wants more. .
Lovely walk, Dave. Brought back happy memories of the family holidays we used to have in that area. First time we visited we didn't know there was a naturist beach there...we got quite a shock when this wrinkly old man appeared from.the bushes in his birthday suit! When Bournemouth beach was crowded we used to go to Sandbanks for some peace and quiet. That was before the rich and famous discovered it!
Thank you for sharing your lovely walk along the sea and sand. I loved it very much! Its always fun to see you and Logan enjoying the sand 🐾 Where do we get the buttons like your other fan had? Do you have t-shirts? Nice to see you had fun in the 5k run with Fiver, too!
Thank you. I don't have any merchandise for the channel (such as T Shirts etc). I just tend to carry a few "Dave's Countryside Walks" badges with me and hand them out to viewers who spot me (or Logan!) and come up and say hello! Thanks for watching.
I haven't seen Logan so active in quite a while. Looks as if the sea and sand suited him. That Agglestone rock was amazing. At one angle, it looked a bit like a huge bird. Shell bay and Studland bay are really perfect for families. A beautiful walk. I've been across there on a bus for Swanage more than once. Its a lovely ride.😊
It’s about fifty years since I was in the Studland area. I didn’t know that the Agglestone Rock had taken a tumble. I wonder how much those beach huts cost considering the price of properties in Sandbanks. A lovely walk all told.
@@DaveFord it is raining here today so this walk was so nice to see. Have a wonderful weekend Dave and sending a big hug to Logan . Thank you both for brighting up my rainy day.
If I may suggest... What would make your video more enjoyable would be a 360° camera and talk as you walk. There were a few programmes on TV with celebrities doing that and it had more of a feeling that it was you yourself (the viewer) on the walk.
I remember as a little lad in the sixties crossing the ferry there on our way to a holiday at Swanage at the Grosvenor Hotel long time demolished and luxury flats have taken the place.
After the previous day's exertions, walking all those sand paths, I bet the old calves were grumbling by the time you got back to the Bankes Arms! (We stayed there one Valentine's Night, romantic old git that I am 🙂). Bet it was too cold for a spot of Skinny D on Studland beach though! Great work Dave
Thank you. We were out filming for a fair few hours on that one but we had plenty of "pit stops" along the way - particularly that lovely little beach at Bramble Bush Bay.
Good afternoon Dave lovely video beautiful scenery i wonder how heavy the rock is that toppled over the pub looked really lovely i wonder what it look like inside brilliant stuff.
Just north of Swanage on that map I see my middle name, Arne! ....lol Probably not the same meaning of the name as mine though, since I'm Scandinavian. Nice beaches down there. Very special landscape. 🙂
Have done bits of this walk twice this year. Lovely area. Thank you for creating and sharing
Thank you Jerry. It is so beautiful around there - especially on a sunny day!
Thank you, a lovely place I’ve been many times. Drove over on the ferry and been on open top bus the Swanage .
Thankyou, another great one
Thank you David.
Cracking recording Dave, many thanks for posting most enjoyable.
Thank you Stephen.
Thanks Dave for another lovely walk. Possibly the best time to visit the coast before the summer crowds arrive.
Thanks Charles. Yes, it can get very busy in the Summer months for sure!
Wonderful walking tour in the countryside with amazing views and the lake
Thank you Keith. :)

Thank you both. Yes, the Agglestone Rock is quite a sight - especially when you get up close to it!

Thank you Jean. We didn't quite have enough time to find the Puckstone Rock but the photo you put on Facebook looks like that is it.

Definitely on the to do list, thanks Dave and Logan 😘

Yes, i think Logan really enjoyed that one. He loves running on sand in particular.

I believe that the rock may have "fallen over" in 1970 although I am not 100% sure.
Happy Friday Dave . Looks so pretty there. Lovely walk .☀️
It is so beautiful there Melissa.

Thank you for the idea. Always useful to try new things! Thanks for watching.
Were that beach over here in the States, it would be packed. Get well and no more people-zoomies for a while, Dave! Thanks for the great walk.
Thank you Yvonne. :)

Thank you Craig. The Bankes Arms is a super pub & the beer garden has great views of the sea.

Nice beaches down there. Very special landscape. 🙂
I hope to film a walk at Arne one day - dogs are allowed on the Nature Reserve (on a lead) I believe, so one for the list!
Hi Dave, is there any way of contacting you via email? Have a couple of questions that I think you could help me with. Cheers.
