It’s wild how only being a half step off on two notes of this riff completely ruin it. Thanks for showing this beautiful Guitar anyway.
Youbare welcome ;)
So much room for activities !! Love it
that made be chuckle too
I just picked this up from Reverb. I'm super psyched, and I think it will pair well with my gt-1000. I play in b standard anyways, so might as well make it official with a baritone!
How is it? 👀
@@GeorgeVGuitars god damned amazing
That's awesome, congrats. "Kenny Hickey lying on the sidewalk, devil music from the house next door".
Fantastic video! Thanks for posting an incredibly detailed review. I was wondering if thie Kenny Hickey Solo-6 model was neck heavy at all or if it hangs from a guitar strap similar to a regular scale Solo-6?
I didn't notice any serious neck dive. you should be fine with a good strap. I am glad you like the video.
The cover for the selector switch cavity is basically the same one they used for the battery cavity on the old ATX guitars ...
Yours is different than mine! My kill switch and 3-way are swapped, but the my 3-way switch is not in line with the volume and tone knobs, but rather offset. My Seymour Duncan pickup also looks different. It’s not a chrome cover like yours. Oh, and the headstock is a completely different shape! I got mine in June of 2021, so they must’ve changed it quite a bit since then!
Are u sure we are talking about the same model?
When did Kenny stop using Fernandes Sustainers?
Did I miss where you mentioned the material for the frets? If not, I think you should add that information going forward. I'm assuming they're nickel silver. If this guitar came with stainless steel frets that would make it incredible.
Im only going to mention it if they are Stainless which I think they are not here.
Schecters have stainless steel on guitars with the fret markers that are that vaguely S-shaped, which is made with two thin bars, such as on the Solo-II Supreme, Silver Mountain, etc. So all the steel fretted Schecters are on the (imo) ugly guitars that I'd personally never buy, plus they're 14-1500 dollars.
Do you know where I can find used esp explorer mx?
Check Reverb.com regularly or ask in the facebook group Guitars of James Hetfield
Do you think this would be okay for beginners? And I love your videos ^^
I am not sure that a baritone with a sustainiac is a great choice for a beginner. If it is not your first guitar and only guitar I guess its ok.
@@GeorgeVGuitars oh okay that’s fine! Do you maybe how far along you’d have to be to play one of these? I’m basically new and would love to play this someday 💚🖤
@@sleepyrose4815 You can play it right away I would just not recommend it for exercises because of the big stretch - it is a baritone. And in order to use the sustainiac you need some basic string muting skill. But let me put it this way - when I was a beginner i bought the 8 String Ibanez M80m meshuggah and that was 29.75 inch crazy long scale and I enjoyed it. So if money is no issues, buy it :>
GET A CHEAP ACOUSTIC AND OR A CHEAP SQUIRE STRAT AS A FIRST GUITAR , these serious metal guitars with heavier strings you shuld work ur way up to, and you still need a good amp and effects to make them sound good as well as being a good enuff player
@@IncantationNYDM That is one of the things I strongly advice against, because I sell these cheap strats at the shop I work in. Most people want them because they are extremely cheap but sound like a can of bees for metal. I sell them to kids that like Nirvana, blues, grunge and such. For metal I always strongly advice people not to spend money on such a cheap strat with single coil pickups for metal. I did a video for beginerw on a budget recently about the LTD EC-10 and why you should buy a cheaper guitar with a decent amp for metal. But not all the way down to a single coil strat.
It's a john deere guitar I love it!!
Haha could be :>
i'd keep it ahahaha.....
"Product of Vinnland. What is this about?"
So you buy a Kenny Hickey signature guitar and play Black No. 1 and then you ask about Vinnland? Do some research man.
Speaking of doing some research, maybe you should have watched the video. I explained what Vinnland is ;) Also there are videos about 60 other guitars, its not a channel dedicated to Type-O ;)
