SG style guitar neck dive is fixed with a wide strap with a lot of friction on the back. I bought a leather strap with basically raw suede on the back. Never realized this was a problem for other SG players until I looked up Gibson alternatives.
Dang your buddy did that kenny guitar good. I like the "black chrome" it had but it wasnt.... type o. The black out hardware sets it off and that pickup is an awesome addition. Only thing its missing is some black strings and itd be good to go! Ive looked at baritones and was leaning towards the benjamin burelson? (Breaking benjamin) esp/ltd but... the kenny hickey really is more my style i think. Im a big type o fan even have a tattoo kinda stolen from them/in memory of them. And my love affection for lime green stuff. Wallets, cooking pans, silverware, oven mitts, guns, glasses you name it i got bright green (flashlights) everything haha only fitting to get a proper metal beast guitar in that shade of green

Would friggin love the Kenny Hickey model in a 7 string. Really cool variation on the Gibson style.
