When their is blow by thn their will be pressure fluctuations in the combination chamber.. so is anything present in the ECR which can monitor continues fluctuations in pressure inside combination chamber?
sir it is said that if an OMD sounds in 2S/Engine will slow down and in 4S/Engine will trip. Why is it in such a way that 2S it slows down, 4S it trips even though the principle of crank case explosion is same in both type engine.
Good question Rohith !!! As 2 stroke engine Cylinder and crankcase is separated from Diaphragm(Stuffing box) arrangement so direct flame from Combustion space cannot aggravate the situation. Moreover if rubbing or hot spot is there it temp will be lower due to reduced in speed. But in 4 stroke as both cylinder and crankcase is common. Hot spot condition will not be reduced by reducing speed. Moreover if it is used for Aux Gen purpose(4Stroke engine) then it will be unable to match the frequency if speed is reduced so trip is provided for 4 Stroke engine. I hope you understand!!!!
