Statler and Waldorf from the balcony: “oh man that comment stinks just like this show.. yeah teddy Rosevelt shoulda shot the bear so we didn’t have to hear about it anymore bwhahaha”
Thank you for showing us the toy museum. That brought back memories. Especially the cabinets with California raisins. Those little figures next to them were some me and my brother had.
As a KC native I am so glad you came to visit! We don’t have much out here but places like the Toy and Miniature Museum are definitely our must sees! I wish you could have seen Dave though, he is a local celebrity in Lawrence. Pretty much any arts student at KU has a Dave sticker somewhere on their stuff. Thank you for visiting!! Next time stop at KC Joe’s BBQ, it’s a must have imo.
I really thought you were going to get a toilet pin for your hat that would’ve been perfect. A good oddity. The toy store, and the miniature stuff was really cool. I’m 62 and I remember a lot of it. Always entertaining Jacob. ❤ Sending love and positive positive positive vibes.
28:20 I bought a Naugy Doll from the Naugatuck Historical Museum last fall! My husband grew up in Naugatuck and we visited his family there. It's a very small town, the former home of the Peter Paul Candy Factory that used to make Almond Joy and Mounds, until it was bought by the Hershey company, and eventually moved production to Virginia, then to Robinson IL. Its fate is the same as all the other small industrial American towns when all the companies pulled out to manufacture overseas instead. But I found that the locals who stayed on take a lot of pride in the history of their town. ❤️
Morning Jacob 🌞😊 i just saw Jenny Penny celebrating St. Patrick day by getting her a McDonald's shake, it looks tasty 😋. Thanks for sharing this video of toys and the miniature Jacob, looks awesome. 🤓📸👍 The haunted bathroom lol don't see that everyday.
My husband and I purchased a new Atari system for $128 with two games. I think it was space invaders and a very pixelated one with a dragon-like figure going through a one-dimensional castle…if you can call it that. It had lines for walls. But, we loved it.
Thanks for the fantastic museum tour and continuing to show new/different places! By the way, I think the three elves in the Promotional section were Snap, Crackle, and Pop from the Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal box (not the Keebler elves).
Mr Machine was a favorite toy I wish I had 😔 19:40 Wow, what a throwback to yesteryear, looking these vintage toys. It would be even more interesting if the museum would spotlight the valuable collectible toys!
My solution to the question of bumper stickers is to buy sheet magnet and put the sticker on that. Then I cut out around it and put that on my car. The magnetic sheet does tend to heat up a bit more but the stickers still last quite a while and can be removed for washing. I also use decals instead of actual stickers. I have tiny holographic stars on my dark blue car because it was too boring.
I live in Lawrence and I was bummed to see I'd missed you! We have an awesome natural history museum here called the Biodiversity Institute, I'm a paleontologist who works there and if you're ever back in town, hit me up. I'll give you a guided tour!
I had a similar fascination with the California Raisins as a kid too. I think it was because I loved their expressions. Even though they were shaped the same, each one was doing something different and highly animated.
California raisins were also singing and that might have ignited my love for Motown and watching them dance while on stage. I just loved watching them but I never bought the figures but it put a smile on my face 😂
Vintage Futuristic toy robots are cool! I wonder what happens that makes the bathroom haunted? Love your car passengers. Enjoy meeting the new family member and being with family, sounds great!
There's a drive in restaurant in Lamar Colorado that you can order from your vehicle or dine inside. You have to place your order by phone. It's very nostalgic.
Hi Jacob, while in Colorado you should visit the Royal Gorge Bridge in Canon City. It's a great roadside attraction as it is the highest suspension bridge in America. Enjoy the time with your family.
Yeah! Uncle Jacob congratulations so happy for you. Yes thise whips were no joke. Oh and that was an old school Micky. I 'd say Micky great grand dad. Thanks for sharing love your videos
Yikes... Frame 22:44 I was given that toy Indian as a small child. It was OK as long as he was drumming, but what freaked me out was what came next... You'd turn him on an he'd start beating the drum. Then he'd stop, start making a War Cry noise, while sticking his tongue in & out. ( you can't see the tongue because its inside his mouth in this shot ). I must have been 3yr old when I got it.
The miniature house at 4:13 has locks that can be opened with miniature keys. There are also miniature pianos that can actually be played and a miniature camera that actually works. The difference between a toy and a miniature is that a miniature must be a scale replica of a pre-existing item.
Frame 15:01 Not the Keebler Elf's. Thats Snap, Krackle & Pop ! Frame 15:39 Theres the Keebler Elf ! Was hoping he's be in there somewhere ! This Toy/miniature Museum is fantastic, I'd probably get lost in there !
It's cool to see you in my home town. I've been a fan since I saw you go through the glore psychiatric museum in st. Joseph, mo. Love your videos, have fun out there! Ps check out the davis memorial in Hiawatha ks sometime. The story is interesting.
Awww man Jacob, I wish I would have known you were coming through Kansas City! I live here!! Next time you or you and Jenn are in town please reach out! I would love to take you guys to lunch! I will be at Silver Dollar City on the 29th of this month for the Grand Opening of Fire in the Hole. Reach out if you will be that way! Keep doing what you do! You guys are awesome!!
Hello Jacob I enjoyed your miniatures and to museum. Was really cool I especially loved to see the display of the cut out dolls and clothes. I spent many hours as a child enjoying these and just impossible to find anymore. The train restaurant you ate in would be great also for kids parties. Good video Jacob. Regards Jo-Anne
I loved the California Raisins when I was a kid too, I think they were cool because they had claymation specials and the claymation was done very well and were magical.
I loves the raisin men, I worked at Hardee's when they came out and everybody loved them!! Oh I still have mine. I am thrilled you stopped in KC, and actually stopped in Lawerence and Manhattan, but you need to come down to Wichita and Hutchinson. Hutchinson has two great museum the salt mine and the cosmophere. Loved this video brought back some great memories. Congrats on being a uncle that's awesome, hope you guys did not get all that snow some places got out there.
The back and white thing you called an old Mickey is actually Felix The Cat who was one of the earliest cartoon characters in history. Early Felix cartoon were pretty much silent film cartoons.
On top shelf of mascots you had said Kiebler elves which at quick scan I could see some resemblance but just to let you know if didn't catch, it was Snap-Crackle-Pop from Rice Krispies. I took not familiar with Cottonelle dog and bears are Charmin, but I must regress nothing beats Mr. Whiffle "don't squeeze Charmin."

I was thinking the very same thing...that there had to be a Kewpie, somewhere in there, because they have such, an expansive collection of toys! 😊💜 💜 💜
Congratulations to your sister 👏 . We did have similar robots available in the 80s that played an image on its chest perhaps that's what you had I know I had one .
Jacob in the haunted bathroom, you didn't notice the clock was running backwards, but when looking at the clock through the mirror, it runs forward.
Cool I didn't even notice that before, good eye!!
Yes True 🕓
Fozzie: boy there’s a lot of bears in here, you can say it’s UnBEARable Waka Waka
Statler and Waldorf from the balcony: “oh man that comment stinks just like this show.. yeah teddy Rosevelt shoulda shot the bear so we didn’t have to hear about it anymore bwhahaha”
Congratulations on the new baby person, Uncle Jacob!
Congratulations to your new Niece or Nephew! Prayers for Mama! OMG! Paper Dolls🥹🥰
Thank you for showing us the toy museum. That brought back memories. Especially the cabinets with California raisins. Those little figures next to them were some me and my brother had.

The radio in the haunted bathroom wasn’t “plugged in.”! Spooky
Omg I completely forgot about the Wonder Bread mascot! Lol What a cool place! The older toys seem to last much longer than what's out nowadays.
How can you forget about that
@@byallmeansneccasary6884 I don't really see the logo anymore so it's very easy to forget. Lol

Those toys being back many memories. Thanks for that. I had a tin doll house and tin Barn
What a cute concept to have your food delivered by train that’s so cute❤
I always loved miniatures of things. Amazing.

Jen would love it in that museum, i hope you bring her some day 🙂
The Bear family is from Charmin bath tissue. I remember Mr. Whiffle, "Don't Squeeze The Charmin".
The silver guy was an enemy of Capn Crunch known as the Sogmaster, he made cereal soggy
Sorry for all the snow on your trip out here. Its a pretty bad storm I hope you're ok and made it in safely.
