Those cars don’t deserve to sit and rust away. That Porsche surprised me, porschas from that era go from 50-100k+ usd easily.
Cant believe that some of my dream cars are just sitting there collecting more dust and even more rust.

Man that 911 should definitely go to RWB for a new life, such a rare and expensive car to buy in Japan, it also hurts my heart seeing those machines being abandoned, well at least they are resting under a covered garage waiting for someone to rescue them.
I think i remember carboy when i was there in the early 2000's. i feel like i might have an old picture of that yellow skyline at nago circuit or one that may have looked like it. is blue eye's still a shop out there? they used to have some bad ass drift cars in the early 2000's.

@@CaptTwo6 yeah they used to be a little shop out gate 1 I believe. I'll see if I can dig up some old stuff. I know I have some old quick magazines you could get from one of the shops.. might have been starks I cant remember though it's been 16 years since I left.
The clutch rattle when the R33 started was awesome. One of my favorite sounds of all time. Diehard Nissan boy here!

The red sticker on the yellow rust bucket skyline is the old JCI sticker. They started switching to the current style before I left back in May 2005. JDM Carboy’s shop used to be open when I was doing my tour on Oki back between 03-05. I used to get my car work done at another shop called Bay Area Stark. Thanks for all of the sweet content man, I miss Okinawa every day ever since I PCSd outta there years ago. 🤙🏽

That evo isn't bad at all, just the roof. But there are weird aspects about it. The sunrood doesn't look legit and it doesn't have a rear wiper. Might be a ghost car ooOoooOOo.
Exactly what I was thinking. Can’t imagine an Evo coming out with a sunroof and missing the rear wing. Probably a swap.

Ok you just literally gave me a flash back from my childhood. I was in Japan on Kinser as a kid from 1996-2001 and Carboy was a magazine that show cased cars, mostly drifting. Kinda like Import Tuner from the 90's in the states. I remember seeing that yellow R32 driving around in Nago all the way down to Naha, it was a rolling advertisement for the magazine. I've seen it drift a few street corners at the old seawall down by Kinser where the beach behind the pool and old roller hockey rink was. We called it Aja and we would sneak down there about 230 in the morning and watch them drift until the JP's showed up and everyone would split. Aja was the warehouse district down by the shipping port. We would sneak girls down there to watch the drifting with us, even got some of the drivers to take some of the girls drifting. It was good times back then, then again you could also pick up a GTS-T for about $2500-4500 depending on its condition back in those days.

Evo 7 GT-A owner here... that one is in a good condition, engine is same as Evo 7 GSR except the turbo is 90mm not 98mm. Airtrek turbo and the car is about 270ish HP. Auto transmission parts are easy to come by, many Mitsubishi/Hyndai/ Kia cars came with similar transmissions.

I have an Evo 3 in white that’s been dry stored since late 2012. In November 2019 it got submerged by floodwaters and has been abandoned ever since. Watching this, I feel moved to restart the restoration. Or at least make it road worthy again. Thanks for the video.

EF8 Late Spec CRX SiR for the first one Cap, that front end (Headlights, Bonnet, Front Bumper, if genuine Mugen) is worth more than the entire car and Rega Master Evo 5 are the the wheels on the EVO

@0:55 , nice! I went to Top Rank in Cali and checked out their Evo 2 there, SUPER clean and loved it. Gotta pick up the Evo 2 they got when I can! They definitely got the cleanest JDM cars I've ever seen. Brian (at Top Rank) is a super cool dude too! Thanks for mentioning Ghost R33, just subbed. Love the R33's! Great video man! So cool (and painful) to see JDM cars like this too...it's like a time capsule. haha.

Had to get on my phone to make this comment here. That registration sticker on the r32 is definitely from the 90s. It came on almost all the cars imported to Jamaica that I can distinctly remember from my childhood, like AE92 and AE100 Levin and GT Apex Corollas.

I live in Asia, I actually own a Evo 3. Maintenance is a must, specially if you found small amount of oil leak coming from under the engine, you should fix it as soon as possible and pray it's not a oil pan gasket leak or a oil filter housing leak because these cars are low af you must know someone with car lifts to fix under chassis properly.
PS: You must prepare to spend a lot of tears, sweat and papers if you're planning to own one, they do look nice but after a few runs it will show you it's real age and headaches

I see there 2 Rally legends sports cars, the Impreza and evo 3 is pretty good, that Evo 7 GT-A and 2 CR-Xs are abandoned, there so rough and dirty and there old porsche 911, it will going to restore and it turn into a RWB 911.

i mean...there's phone numbers on the CRX for the shop...the kei cars there are still new I'm sure those people would know who owns them and possibly get you in contact with the landlord who can get you in contact with the owner of the shop/cars.

C'mon guys. Non of the car are aboanded or junked. They are all private property, parked on private property. In fact lots of cases have happened where cars have been stolen & the theif say "it's abandoned". Usually its somthing along the lines of "the neighbors said it was abandoned so we towed it away"
Damn those rust in Japan are just as bad as cars up in the Rust Belt.

Man that gc8 is such a shame but not as rare as the evo I would try to contact the shop ( if there is a number on it ) and use the evo as a parts car at least or just fix it since it isn't in such a bad shape alright the roof needs to be replaced at some point but I still think the roof isn't legit anyway since I don't know a evo3 with a sunroof ( at least never seen one ) I'm a subie boy but I cry when i see a evo die like this. Please any body find a way to rescue the car ✌️ thanks atherwise very nice vid and interesting place .
