    We are witnessing the prophetic voice of the Church.
    God bless the light beaming from the sanctuary. Indeed, significant that we witness "light in the darkness" during the Season of Epiphany.

    Tears of sorrow and of gratitude, in the shadow of the first armed breach of the national Capitol since 1812, and upon the occasion of the first day of Epiphany 2021. Thanks be to God and to Bishop Budde and Dean Hollerith for a reminder of the appropriate scale of events - that the darkness can neither comprehend nor overcome the Light. Christ be with us. We refuse to be discouraged, disheartened.

    It is moral leadership that has been sorely lacking in our politics. I therefore join my prayers with the supplications of Bishop Mariann Budde and The Rev. Canon Randy Hollerith, that the Lord might shed His grace upon this nation which has lost its way, and endow the American people with the wisdom to repair our democracy, and the strength to rebuke the leadership of a criminal president, who has led the nation down a path of division, hatred, violence and death. This I ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.

    • @donnarogers7732

      And Amen! Because this President NEVERattended one Sunday service that I am aware of , you now know there is no Christ's Love in his heart nor within his family. May we as the American Nation NEVER be so misguided again. The lesson must be kept fresh in the eyes of our elected officials and the CONTENT OF THIER CHARACTER ALWAYS BE RECOGNIZED.
      GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR STRONG DEMOCRACY!

    This is magnificent, and the intervention is appropriate and right. Sadly, these two Christians have themselves departed from the Scriptures in so many ways and so publicly in what they have allowed, promoted and condoned, that they have previously lost the ear of the very people they now wish to influence the most. It is a lesson to us all.

    Thank you so much for these videos. I am trying to avoid public comments because my religious beliefs and relationship to God are not up for debates. The politics have really deviated from the founding fathers of the nation. Again 3/5 being a provision against slavery; slaves were counted as a child of God. Thank you for mentioning this. I know my order and responsibilities for the country’s knowing that it’s a biblical tribe ordained by God; in God we trust. It’s very frustrating knowing that with the documents left stemming from my Grandfather King James. I have responsibilities that are in relation to God. Marxism has really changed the original ideas into something alien from both the church and the state. The separation of powers is in reference to Moses; provisions the Bible. The idea was for the land of milk and honey. This is reiterated so many times I am sickened by the terror. I love the Bible. So again it’s hard because the religious abuse overthrows my faith in people residing in the country. Thou shall not lie.
    Machiavellian politics are usurped by the church with Mandeville; The Fable of the Bee’s. Again Moses.
    America is a biblical tribe which the laws stem from Ebla. There’s are many people trying to mock me or pretend to be me. Democracy does not delineate ownership again Marxism which is in contrast to the teaching of Jesus. History is history. Thank you I am frustrated. Daily I grow closer to my grandpa King James.

    Altough violence should always be denouced, our church is failing. Sadly, that fact has been well documented with loss of membership and finances to support our mission. Please stay out of politics and focus on doing church work. This lack of focus is exactly the reason why our church is not thriving.

    • @laerwen
      @laerwen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lack of focus? This seemed pretty focused to me and is exactly why they had a newcomer like me last year. Church work is speaking truth to power, which is also what Jesus did. It isn't following the status quo of racism and white supremacy. It's funny-- you know you're doing something right when people have a problem with following what Jesus actually said. It should make the comfortable uncomfortable.
