After Jinga and his Wife massacres the Villager in their Backstory for all intents and purposes they're pretty much dead, because of their Action they're reborn as a Horror. It's easier to think the Jinga that we see in this Video is just a Ghost of his Former Self, or if we're using Japanese Folktale they're basically an Onryō.

While I agree with your sentiments, the Decade vs Zio thing is the worst they could've done to his character. Beat Oma Zio with a Saber Ridewatch too....Although that kinda made sense when we learn that it was Touma who jumpstarted the entire Kamen Rider and Super Sentai Series lol

Jinga is still probably the best villain in Garo simply because he was the constant antagonist, well written and well acted. Garo usually had problems with rotating villains out or them being just not very charismatic or showing up too late as villains. Amily was the perfect partner for him too. Its legit lightning in a bottle for how good they are.
Jinga is one of the best Garo characters conceived. Starting out as a villain, he has a chance to be a good guy in Fang of God, yet he slowly starts falling back to darkness. Kinda tragic.
Imagine intercepting someone's blade with you're own sheath they do the same to you y'all clash for a bit then swap back while still getting ready to throw hands also proceeds to chuck your sheath at them only for them to deflect it and then kick it in a nearby object having it stick like a throwing knife
Kinda sad that you didn't include his scenes from Kami no Kiba and his own spin-off. He's at his best there, I think. Like, almost every line of his is quotable there. I especially liked the moment when he reproached his reincarnation for trusting a power that Ryuuga would've easily seen through. And I think that the reason he's so good in the movie and in the show is 'cuz Amily isn't there to hold him back. Heck, she's one of the main reasons I hated the Gold Storm. Her character just dragged the show down so much it's not even funny.
What's the watch order for garo??? I really want to watch it but I've heard the seasons are connected to each other unlike kamen rider or super sentai (for most parts)
