My man, Inoue-san was so cool in this series, it was pretty awesome to see Jinga getting slowly corrupted into becoming just like the Jinga we all know from Garo.
@@hibiki2175 basically Horror Jinga is the original. While the makai knight Jinga is a fake being used and corrupted to bring Horror Jinga after he was killed in Goldstorm. However, Horror Jinga was a makai knight that was once call 'Fang of God' because of his unrivaled skills and talent and was unstoppable with his wife Amily, a makai priest. They even had kid, but said kid was murdered by the village they live in many years ago because of fear. That corrupted both Jinga and Amily and they became cannibalistic horrors.

The villagers didn't believe that Jinga would be able to kill the horror terrorizing them and sacrificed his son to try to appease it for the time being, unbeknownst to them that Jinga did defeat the Horror, which caused a domino effect of Jinga and Amily slowly becoming corrupted by darkness and eventually becoming Horrors by destroying villages on their path of vengeance.

Nah, he was too consumed by the so-called "power" that he had and was easily manipulated by Amily from the start of the show. It was inevitable for the Horror side to win at the end of the day, and Mikage was just on borrowed time.
If there’s one thing I learned from watching Garo it’s this; a world without Garo is a world without hope. It’s why I believe Jinga reincarnated in another world instead of being in the future of Ryuga’s world.
And they never mentioned Garo even once here. I though Mikage's dream is to be the strongest Makai knight which means he will become Garo. But nope. Jinga is resurrected and no Garo to stop him. So I assume Ryuuga will come to the future to beat him?
In this episode, Horror Jinga referred Ryuga as “a Makai Knight I fought a very long time ago.”. That’s means that Kami No Kiba Jinga took place in the distant future of Ryuga’s timeline. Even Ryuga is Garo, he is a human, so it appears that Ryuga is already dead because of his lifespan at the Kami No Kiba Jinga‘s era.
I was really rooting for Mikage to be the one to finally overcome and defeat Jinga and being the new and different reincarnation for his new life. I was pretty depressed how the finale went

This movie takes place after Garo: Fang of God. What happened next is.... Apparently, in the ending, Horror Jinga returns to the realm of Horrors. He challenges Messiah, the creator of Horrors, but was defeated. He was then reborn as Jinga Mikage. However, Amily somehow arrived in the mortal realm in the hopes that her husband will revive in his new body. She started her plan by turning Jinga's father into a horror, thus giving him trauma which makes him hesitate in slaying Horrors. Things change when Jinga is bitten by a Horror, thus giving him the ability to save humans, but as it turns out, Horror Jinga gave him that ability to make him think that way, and during the finale all Jinga Mikage's ability does is suppress Horrors, and then everyone he saved, including his younger brother Toma turns back into Horrors since the goal is to use them as Inga only for the sake of fighting a strong opponent. Jinga Mikage is completely in despair, and Horror Jinga just said, "fuck it" and outright kills Mikage, thus gaining his body.
I think this is the first Garo spinoff where the bad guy wins in the end, there is still no sequel to this plot line and since there is no sign of Garo being around in this Jinga time I guess he wins, he become the strongest Horror and without the Golden Knight to stop him there is no one in this realm that can defeat him.
