It gets even better when you realize that Louis's false last name for most of the game is Guibern, which means when you say his full name out loud its basically just saying Lucifer with a french accent
a lot of people have mentioned how obviously this spells out the Louis is a Lucifer analogue, but something a bit less talked about that I realized because of this is that the protagonist pre and post identity reveal matches up aesthetically and thematically with Orpheus and Messiah from Persona 3. Pre-reveal, the protagonist goes on a hero's journey to save a loved one who's dead to the world, and almost succeeds, only for tragedy to strike right at the end. this immediately leads into the reveal that he *is* the prince, basically bringing him back from death, after which he starts gaining followers *very* quickly, overcomes several trials (including one from his father, who for most of the game has been presented as a rather God-like force), and finally faces off against what is essentially the devil.
The best part is that both of his parents helped him out in the most roundabout way possible. Dude truly is the only Atlus protag to have loving parents (even if they are both "dead")
@@KhangNguyen-ij4xh P4 protagonist's parents were alive and decent from what we're told. They had to send him off to his mother's relatives because of their work. You can hardly blame them for that.
Yeah I agree, I also really like how he's the main villain from beginning to end, where most Atlus games who you think is the main villain becomes the secondary main villain and the true villain is actually a god wanting to destroy humanity or smth. I'd say he might even go down in history as one of the best villains in video game history.
Really wish the final boss themes had more vocals of that Priest (Yes its an actual Priest singing) from the normal battle themes and the royal palace mixed in. But great themes otherwise.
Nah, it has the Adakemeia theme is pretty fitting, consider the conversation he had 15 minutes prior. This is not only an intense fight, this is also the final stretch so something more heroic like Odes to Heroes fits more
Me in Regicide mode: *spams slash/pierce/blunt weakness, then raise Strohl's attack to the max and give all of them critical rate increase for him to one shot it*
Curious. How did you manage that? Even on Easy all forms have over 10k hp, so you couldn't have used Final Sire. Only way is Hassou Tabi hitting for like... 2kish lol
@skyFxd yea isn't that The Prince Archetype's hidden skill Final Sire? I'm just saying to ONE-SHOT the final bosses he'd have to use a skill that let's him hit multiple times totaling 15-20k damage
Some people were saying the music sounds like SMT Strange Journey When I got to the video of this part, I expected the MC to pull an assault rifle... XD Spoiler THEN HE FUSED WITH THE SHIP 0_0
When the akademia ost merges I lost my shit and stopped doing any actions, I just wanted to listen to this music

this thumbnail ruined my life
Louis is easily the best villain in any video game, and his boss is the perfect example of why.
