Projects for you are the adult version of "Mom, it followed me home...can we keep it?" That Fargo cab is sweet looking and definitely worth preserving.
That twilight shot of the truck leaving Randy’s was amazing…….. that truck looks so good. “We’re going to keep the build simple “. Lol 😂. …….Not a chance Rich.
I go way back on the channel before the Cummins Tahoe days. V&R has been so good to you, this channel and all the viewers… I can’t thank them enough for their support.
I love that you were able to grow your side project into a viable way to support your family. I’m physically not able to do a lot of the stuff you do anymore, so I enjoy watching all your projects come along.
Love these old trucks, I was at the gas station the other day and a B series Mack dump truck drove by, candy apple red in pristine condition and the fellow was hauling a load of rock, gotta love seeing an old girl still doing what she was built to do.
This build is gonna be great. All your builds are unique. Lots of good one liners in this vid. I find myself grinning from start to end. Thanks for the entertainment Mr. Deboss.
Found your channel when you were starting on the Ford, have not been disappointed since, here or on the HD channel. I have about 20 years on ya, and see a lot of my way of doing things in your way of doing things. Love the old truck builds. Too many of them are gone, but you are (I hope) helping younger folks see the possibilities hidden away. Thanks for what you do.
😂 Haha I love how you spent enough time with the Fargo trying to get it running that it got stuck in your head. That’s when you start day dreaming and I like what you dreamt-up here! I’m very excited for this one!
RORO's seem antique in Australia, everything is hook and the bins converted to have a grab at front, even if they still use the RORO lock pins at the back.
Hook is popular here too, but a lot pricier. They definitely make it quicker to pick up, but we are not using the truck as a business, we have time. Cheapest used hook lift I found was $18 000 with no truck
Man, it's so cool .now I'm going to be hounding you about Fargo. I did love the C10 build. I have watched all your videos. Derek over at VVG is going to have to up his game
My grandparents had an old Fargo just like that as a silage truck in the 80's. I remember days of riding around in the passenger seat as a kid hauling load after load.
If that international has a cable to engage the pto, you could also try putting the transmission into drive while running with the brakes on then engaging the pto then shift back to neutral and the pto should spin. Not sure if that will work with that truck but it did with a similar year international that I worked on.
the 55 was cool but the fargo is in another class. the reason i keep following your workI love the way you move forward regardless. often fillthy, rarely Rich. but always a huge fan of your work. thank you so much for sharing it with us..
Have a 67 C500 Fargo here, looking to make it into a toy hauler, so excited to see how this works out. Have to wonder if a school bus might do the same thing.😀
Hi Frank here watched the video on picking up the Fargo now I have a lot of experience with the tilt n loads you can bring in the axles on trailer that will shorten the swing you have two lanes to use on that road still would take a few turns but it could be done
Growing up in Windsor Ontario we would walk to school and see the Chrysler transports shuttling parts from one plant to another. My favourite trucks. The engineers had really thought out working on them too!
I drove the Dodge version of that Fargo many times over several years. It was already an old truck in the late 80s. I often chose it over our other old ford dump trucks because the Dodge had power steering while the F1000s did not. Solid machine. Low power and weak brakes but that was standard for the times..
I’m so excited to see this project. The 55 was cool but a DT466 in a Fargo is way more fun. Just bought a 95 in a bluebird bus to live in and I’ll be paying close attention to everything you do with that motor.
Props to Rick. Here's a man that builds old trucks to be like new. Then uses those new trucks like a business man would. You use it like an experience tool. You use it hard, for the job that was built for. Clean up and put it back away, but next time it needs to do it's job. 👍
I just finished getting all the parts together for my 3rd (or maybe 4th ... 5th?) ongoing project and then stumbled on a great deal for someone else's project they gave up on, and it's so hard to pass it by ... but I'm going to. I just offer it to other people like me I know :)
Projects for you are the adult version of "Mom, it followed me home...can we keep it?" That Fargo cab is sweet looking and definitely worth preserving.
We know the real reason he got a truck and trailer. To get bigger projects!
@@ionstorm66he needs the lowboy now for even bigger projects
I love seeing the F-350 being used as the work beast it was built to be.

We really are living the dream. Best part was no more customers

I was wondering if Randy maybe didn’t get bucked off the dozer once and that was the reason for the vest 🤣 thanks for the clarification
This build is gonna be great.

Lots of good one liners in this vid.

Thanks for the entertainment Mr. Deboss.
Thank you Gary! This was a ton of fun doing it and filming it, glad you enjoyed it!

Never noticed the vest... but loved Randys answer. Smart man
rich has a very understanding spouse, keeps bringing home hard to move projects
The world needs more heroes like Randy.
What a cool older gentleman Randy is!
Going to the junk yard is like Christmas! Truck is going to look great!
😂 Haha I love how you spent enough time with the Fargo trying to get it running that it got stuck in your head. That’s when you start day dreaming and I like what you dreamt-up here! I’m very excited for this one!
Great story Randy, I’m glad you’re OK, that could have been real bad
Put it in drive to stop the transmission input shaft and then engage the pump with engine running. Then put back in neutral to use pump.
Yeah, I saw the sticker after I tried that! My old service truck was a manual
It's good to hear Randy is not crazy lol
I'm pretty sure he is a least a bit crazy, but not killdozer crazy.
That vest is a good idea, Randy is awesome
Rich was blessed to have the help of an actual "stunt man".
I picked up Rich's "it'll be fine" for work, and it took this video for me to realize where it came from.
Here we go what a perfect Sunday morning....
Old steel moving..
Glad to see that truck again
Awesome music 🎶 in the video and it's Sooooo good to see the Cabover out in a video Thank You Thank You!!!!
Great to be up at midnight Australian time watch a deboss land a vid
RORO's seem antique in Australia, everything is hook and the bins converted to have a grab at front, even if they still use the RORO lock pins at the back.
Same in the UK, 'Big hook' types have been the norm since the 80's here.
Hook is popular here too, but a lot pricier. They definitely make it quicker to pick up, but we are not using the truck as a business, we have time. Cheapest used hook lift I found was $18 000 with no truck
That Fargo is going to look great on that chassis
5:31 deathwish
Welker Farms has 2 Fargo dump trucks used for carting grain.
The swing out front Fenders makes servicing so easy and looks cool.
I like how all the machines build here, are actually working hard and not only be a luxury ítem. That Fargonational gonna be awesome
Man, it's so cool .now I'm going to be hounding you about Fargo. I did love the C10 build. I have watched all your videos. Derek over at VVG is going to have to up his game
What a cool old truck, I’m glad it found you! 👍
Can't wait to see the progress this thing is gonna be f'n cool!
Optimus Primer is looking good! Can't wait to see what you do with that Fargo. Cheers!
I love that you don't make fake videos and atleast you have np making content thanks rich and team
Rich, try engaging the PTO when you shift the trans into drive. If you put it back in neutral it will power the hydraulics
Taking on another colossal project. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.
I'm so glad you're saving this cool looking truck man
Can’t wait to see the cab on the frame
lots of nice project on my favourite channel - it will be an easy winter… thank you DG and DGHD - next weekend better come fast😅
Oh Boy a Second Day of Fall DBoss re-boot collaboration !
I love how Rich lies to himself saying hes not gonna go overboard on it. You know this things will be a total overhaul once he gets into it lol
Randy seems like a cool dude, his old crawler sure did the job for you.
Phenomenal engine, cheap, reliable and easy to work on. Good choice!
We have been wanting to do something with one for a while
Awesome built!!
This is gonna be awesome when it's finished!
Thats going to be one bad ass rollback towrig. Love the idea cant wait to see where you go with it!
great story Randy. and pictures to prove it. this will be a great project.

Thos is going to be awesome. Glad to see the F350 being used for what it was intended for. Way to go Rich!
Glad to see a dt466 on the channel!!
Good editing in this episode. thanks for posting.
I think we’re in store for another great project by Rich
the 55 was cool but the fargo is in another class. the reason i keep following your workI love the way you move forward regardless. often fillthy, rarely Rich. but always a huge fan of your work. thank you so much for sharing it with us..
Thanks for watching!
thats a good reason @11:12
Awesome video! I like the impulsive projects and buys regardless of what other projects your juggling.
Im loving this, look forward to more.
A DT-466 will just about run forever.
I really like the front end of that truck it opens up that’s sweet really makes it easier to work on for sure. 👍🏻
Have a 67 C500 Fargo here, looking to make it into a toy hauler, so excited to see how this works out. Have to wonder if a school bus might do the same thing.😀
i love the sound of that little bulldozer. its like a loony toons cartoon tractor with the soft popping noise it makes.
The Farhp is going to look awesome with that rustic flatdeck!!!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
To engage the PTO you need to put the trans in drive then shift back to neutral and use it. Got the same set up in my service truck.
Bravo. This is quickly becoming my favorite channel.
Super stoked to follow this project. I love the oversized truck builds. 🚚 👍
That can over is drop dead gorgeous! The pipes and headache rack shine so nice.
Love that you got yourself another project. It's a great time watching you work your magic.
Definitely Rich going to be a good Build For Sure Can’t wait for the next video

The swing fenders do it for me. Awesome work benches until you disconnect the mounts and your tools fall off of them...
“She’s a beaut, Clark” will always standout for me.
Man good buy can't wait to see u work on it
I bought an old CP single axle International with a DT 466. Even though it had been beat on, it ran great
Love your vision for this, that Fargo cab is awesome!
Every time I see that truck in a video I think to myself what a beautiful truck.
Sometimes life just drops projects in your lap….The Fargo is a cool project. Can’t wait to see if rolling down the road.
Love your visions of what this could be turned into.
I absolutely love this truck and picking a DT466 is badass as I work for International Harvester as a diesel mech.
''I'm not gonna go overboard on it''.. Yeah.. Right.. 😂
That sir is why I’m hooked on the stuff you do. The Fargo is I think/hope going to be a nice mach to the kw and f3kitty
Ooooooh yes brother! That is going to be sweet!
I drove the Dodge version of that Fargo many times over several years. It was already an old truck in the late 80s. The Fargo is soooo cool.
Pulling away in the dark all lit up was an awsome shot!
Carson Stauffer Deisel is the place to go for the P7100 adapter plate, Scheid deisel has them as well
This is turning out to be a pretty cool build.👍
There should be a block number stamped on the side of the oil filter. approximately 1/3 of the way from the clutch housing
Keep the spoke/dayton wheels man! , they suit a truck of that vintage with the fargo cab so much better 👌
Been waiting for this one
Looking forward to seeing more videos 👍🏻
I've actually did an in frame for a few dt series engines in international tractors. Actually super easy engines to work on. Sound pretty good too.
Nice done. Looking forward to see more about that
Just keep telling yourself you’re doing it for the content and you’ll be all right.
Cool story with the dozer and Randys vest 😂😂😮
I’m so excited to see this project. The 55 was cool but a DT466 in a Fargo is way more fun. Just bought a 95 in a bluebird bus to live in and I’ll be paying close attention to everything you do with that motor.
"I'm not turning it into a big project." ...then describes all the additional activities that will make it a big project. It'll be a fun one.
Props to Rick.

I'm still waiting to see the c10 and Silverado driving!
Me too!
