Can’t go wrong! 2.0 Honda engine! Still has plenty of extras. They are highly rated in crash testing! 👍. Not a dealer person. My 4th Honda. Have never been disappointed!
Picked this over the civic hatch. I didn’t even know these existed. I got the blacked out sport version. For those complaining it’s slow - Honestly it’s not that bad I drive it in so cal and commute on freeway daily. Its like a raised civic
Great review, getting right to the point and reviewing the entry level trim which is rare for car reviewers who generally review only top trim levels that are out of the financial reach of most people. Keep up the great reviews. 👍
Don’t forget to turn on walk away auto lock so the car lock itself when you walk away from it! But car won’t lock if any of the 4 doors are not fully closed or hood and trunk is open or the 2nd key is in the car or keyfob battery is low. The walk away auto lock guarantee the car is locked at night as a security feature, just incase you forgot to lock your car! And you don’t have to press lock on your keyfob, saving the battery and not sending out more signals that thieves can steal the signal and emulate it from your keyfob!
I'm a 6' fat guy. I don't think this vehicle would be big enough for me. But I also think it's great that you're reviewing a base model rather than top trims like everyone else does. So frustrating!
Hey good day my dear laura its about time i thought that you have gave up on these vehicle preview glad to see that every things cool though hope that your enjoying your summer play it safe
Honda is making a mistake pushing the 1.5 turbos in the CRV and other products. I would buy this one with the 2 L naturally aspirated engine hands down. Anyone who knows about engines knows this one will last, forget the turbo mini engines. Plus it's five grand less than an entry level CRV.
I had a 2017 HRV. I loved the design and “secret” seat area. But the battery was no good, poor insulation, no pickup. I traded it in for a Camry. But I may look at this again
The only way I can even look at that thing is having Honda Laura be next to it, she can make anything appealing, just stare ate her and you are good. The honda designers are on drugs
I don’t disagree, been driving CR-V’s since 2012. My 1st one was a 2010 EX. It was the exact same size as this one, except no LED Headlights, no Honda Sense Safety features, no touch screen and so on. It depends on your perspective, same engine but smaller and better fuel efficiency too. The 2010 CR-V had the 2.4L version and that was good enough for #1 Compact SUV. I think they should offer the Turbo, Hybrid and offer something closer to 200 HP but that would drive up the price. Maybe a Si version or Type R but I think it appeals to a different buyer.
Thank you Laura for being one of the few reviewers who look at the base model and make videos around the 10 minute mark!

As long as you do your basic preventative maintenance.

I bought this hrv cuz I love the instrument display. It reminds me of my civic. Wish they would bring back lane watch and add 360 camera. Great video.
Wonderful review, got mine H-RV and I loving it.
Thank you for another great video, Honda Laura! They are always a pleasure to watch. 😊😊❤❤

I got this vehicle today. Black color. Its a huge upgrade from my beater 06 toyota matrix lol
Do you still like it?:)
@@caitlindulas8281 of course, its my daily commute 😅
I love hrv. Do they have different body styles for this year’s model. I’ve seen 3 different designs of the 2023 hrv

smart man for real i think the same
Is this model AWD?
Cool video thank you Laura…. We expect a new versions with better power engine, torque and new hybrid versions … Go Honda hybrid go…
I was okay with this until I saw the version for Asia with is so much nicer. Why do they do that?
Not sure about the warthog horns front end, but I like the color.
This model of HR-V is different than its global HR-V cousin. Anyway, its called ZR-V in some global markets.

Only worse part with this vehicle is key fob entry (lock/unlock). It doesn’t have push button on the door handle or key lock/unlock.
Laura's very pretty.
Mazda HR-V!
👍👍👍
Hi Laura
She got big hands
i knew a man who liked cars.he died more than fifty years ago.i wonder what he would say if he could see how cars have advanced since then.

Yet another car that just cut a slot into the dash and shoved a tablet into it. Ugly as hell with absolutely no thought to appearance.
The vehicle is suppose to be the star of the show....not you. Won't be back.
Great video looks so so. I haven't looked at Honda since the CVT. To much trouble.
Slow car.
It's too bland
