- Priority Pass provides access to over 1300 airport lounges worldwide.
New York’s JFK International Terminals have seven Priority Pass Lounges and four of them are located at Terminal 1.
I’ve checked out all four Priority Pass lounges to compare.

Awesome! The food at primeclass looked pretty good, I liked the salmon and the alcohol at air france but the food was disappointing there, the korean noodles looked good at KAL but they are open when other lounges are closed around midday.
Very true! KAL has kind of strange business hours. By the way, where's your favorite steak house? ;)
how many guests are allows for priority pass Select ? is it up to 2 guests ?
Hmmm… I believe it varies depends on what kind of CC you are using. Better ask your bank’s CS to find out. Sorry!
Hi, are you allowed to go to the other terminals to checkout their lounges even if your flight is at terminal 1? Also, are they strict about their policy that you can only enter 3-4 hours of depature?
I personally didn’t try to go to the other terminals but since you have to go through security check points to get to the lounge, I wouldn’t recommend to do it. About the policy, I know certain airlines are strict about it but not so sure about these lounges because I was there just about 3 hours before my flight.

i think its pretty easy to say you wont find the most luxurious lounges with priority pass. they are few and far between, especially in the United States.
Yup. The most luxurious lounges like Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Etihad, Japan Airlines etc., aren’t part of PP and definitely no lounge is super luxurious in the states.

The lounge operating hours are timed with the respective airlines' flight departures. The Korean Air lounge is only open in the morning because the first flight of the day (if you're not counting midnight the start of the day) leaves at around 12:30 or 1pm in the afternoon. There's no need to have the lounge open and operating when no passengers booked on departing flights would be using it. That said, I have always wondered why airlines don't have arrival lounges as well. That would make perfect sense.

Thanks! I went to Primeclass at 11:40 AM. I’m not sure but I’d think they’d have certain food at certain time frames. It was close to lunch hour so they may have different food in the mornings.

I believe it’s spends on what kind of plan (or credit card) you have. Mine allowed just a card holder FYI

Yes. Your booking class doesn’t matter if you have Priority Pass :)

I've used a membership card called Priority Pass which allows you to enter all partner lounges for free.
This terminal is going to deconstructed and rebuilt in the coming years. I’ve been debating whether to get Priority Pass, only the last longe looked appealing because of the food.
Thank goodness! Lol Yes this terminal is pretty pretty old. I am about to let go of my PP card personally however the last lounge’s food is not so shabby I agree.

Yes! I went there myself (without a guest) but was able to visit all four lounges on the same day. Guest policy would be different person to person I believe.

@@edurdoguerrero3554 As far as i know, once you get into the boarding area (after the security check point) it’s not that simple to move around the terminals because you’d need to keep going through securities. What I did was I went to the different lounges in same terminal. Hope this help!

Can we buy day pass if we don't have priority pass or credit cards with perks?
Yes, some lounges will let you use the longes with a day pass purchase
Can airline employees who are flying standby and only have a seat request slip allowed to enter???
Are standing by for business class and up? If not, I would say no. You'll either have to have a Priority Pass card or a seat in business/First class...
You can still pay to get into Prime Class lounge but I don't think that's what you want.

Can you use a lounge in terminal 1 even if your departure is in another terminal 4? How difficult to get from to the other?
I don’t think you’d want to do that because you’ll need to go through security check point to get to the lounges.

@@i0r-r-tjtkttl My question would be… Is it possible to get into a different terminal without a ticket that is departing from exact terminal you trying to enter. Does it make sense? Also 4 hours might not be enough time.
@@quiettraveler2618 good question. But at Dulles, you can go to any lounge in other terminals. Are you sure 4 hours is not enough? Usually you have to be at the airport 2 hours before. So not sure why 4 hours is not enough?
@@i0r-r-tjtkttl It probably is a personal preference. I usually go to the airport 3 hours prior departure time because I do think about EVERY situations lol. It might is possible that you can go to different terminals lounges in 4 hours but I personally wouldn’t try it.

I have a membership called “Priority Pass” which gives you access to various lounges at the airports. You can get this membership for free by having certain credit cards.
