  • In today's video we take Isah's Lexus LS430 and start working on his version of a VIP build. First step was to swap out his interior from tan to black and do accouple of small things to the car itself. Once we finish with the inside we will be taking care of the outside of the car and will be transforming it in the months that follow. If you enjoy cosmetic work and exterior changes let us know! As there are a lot of changes coming to the rest of the cars soon...

    That knob under the dash controls the loudness of the sound of the security beep when you engage the alarm. Dope video by the way.

    If you guy's got the parts from a ul how did u make the back seats work. Don't they have massaging seats and that center console? Could u essentially take the back off of the frame like u did the front?

      We didn’t attempt doing that with the seats in the back. (The frame thing) we simply just tossed in the new seats and connected the heated seat option. As the car is a base model and not a UL it doesn’t come with the appropriate connectors in the main harness to give us access to cooled and massaged seat. Basically installed higher version seats but one of the two connectors that is included in the seats isn’t connected because the base model car doesn’t have the connector for it

      @wellseegarage The reason I was asking. I was looking at buying a blue ul. But the interior is tan. So I found your video looking up interior swap. I just think maybe you got lucky and it would be hard to find another ul for the back seats. As I don't think they would be interchangeable due to the center console. Also how much did u pay for the whole interior?

    Great video! Did the black seat get cooling and heating when you did the switch? or did you lose some functions from your tan interior?

    • @wellseegarage
      @wellseegarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s actually the tan seats but reskinned with the black leather, so no cooling but still heated

    Can’t find no black interior my plan is to spray paid it but do y’all have and ideas on how to get the nice gloss without any paint smell AND would black and red be good?

    • @wellseegarage

      Try black leather dye, spray paint is gonna leave a texture. Black and red is usually a “sporty” theme, not fitting for an ls430. All black is a better move.

    what products did you guys use to clean the newer black interior? also how long did this job take? lastly how much did you say you paid for the parts and the headliner? I have the beige interior and i desperately want to switch EVERYTHING to black including my headliner. I’d love to get advice

    • @wellseegarage
      @wellseegarage  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We got the black interior for a really good price, 800 dollars and wrapped the headliner and other pieces in 100 dollars worth of alcantara. We used leather cleaners and conditioners to clean it (don’t use armor all anything else is fine)
      It took about 3 days.

      @@wellseegarage gotchu that definitely is a good deal. is there anyway you can tell me what you did, or if it’s easier what you DIDNT get as part of the $800, and chose to paint? I am going to a part out tomorrow to look at some parts. thank you so much!

    • @wellseegarage

      Whatever we painted in the video is what we didn’t get in black and that’s only because even in the black interior they were gray not black. We took everything from the interior we bought even the bolts lol. Whatever you see us paint is what we can’t get black

      @@wellseegarage that’s a one hell of a deal. guy near me doing a part out asking for $3100 i feel like that’s too much. You think i’d save a lot more money by just painting things over? apart from the all seats and arm rests?

    • @wellseegarage
      @wellseegarage  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @agoldendream you can dye it as well but to achieve the best results I’d recommend you do some research on how to do it properly to achieve the best result, it’s a very tedious process and if you just start spraying the results might not be the best.
