I drove 13 years with a Renault Espace And did 150000 km without ever having to change break discs . Drove more than 1.000.000 km with six different Renault models And never have to change anything at The breaks . My wife her 16 year old Clio we had to change The breaks of The Wheels behind because they got to rusty because my wife does not drives enough . Whas rather expensive almost 600€ .
why do the brake discs look si tiny for a heavy car ... is Renault again saving money under the skin which leads to lots of warranty and repair issues later on, typical for French cars....
The brakes are completely sufficient for the vehicle it does not weigh so much defies its size it weighs just depending on the equipment 1.615 to 1.822 kg so everything ok!
I wonder...., if you look at a VW Tiguan, the discs are larger and more robust. Renault gave me the same confident statement about my Espace and now after 3 years I have had to change all 4 discs 2 x !!! I think the components work fine for short tests but are not that stable in the long run. My Espace (new one) is now out of warranty and has already cost me around €4000 in repairs to brakes, suspension and electronics. But I am sure the Koleos will be much better as it is in fact mostly a Nissan x-Trial which my wife drives and is a great car.
I understand your anger, I think you have the old Espace model, which is known for its weaknesses in the chassis, brakes and so on. The reason for this is the enormously high vehicle weight, and the components like chassis and brakes suffer very much, the new Espace I do not have this feeling, there is now also a five-year warranty so I think the quality in any case is better! Wie viele Monate muss der durchschnittliche Deutsche arbeiten, also kaufte er einen Koleos in der maximalen Konfiguration? In Russland kostet ein solches Auto im Premium-Paket 2,5 Millionen Rubel! Und das durchschnittliche Gehalt in Moskau beträgt 40 Tausend Rubel offizielle Statistiken!
