- Part 4 and final video on my process of refurbishing this Gretsch drum kit.

Good stain job, although not that glossy as the original. Yes, those flat tin 'bastard' nuts for the muffler are original Gretsch, and they were on the set. Once again: good work and good story-telling. Best regards from Germany, Martin

Dude… there was this guy here on TH-cam that started a sweet Vintage Ludwig refurbishment, yet never did the last part, putting the hardware back on. I was very disappointed, as he was going along great, doing bearing edges and stuff… and then fizzled… never to make another video.
That F#&ker! Ha ha!! Was like he was trying to piss us all off. 😵💫
Anywaaaaay… you get me. Glad you got it all but the badges and bass hoops! It’s a great kit you’ve got there, in my humble opinion!

Edit: Just so ya know… you’re pretty good at narrating these videos. You should consider doing more of this kind of thing. There are guys I watch who aren’t half as well spoken as you are, while doing a project. Ok… enough bla bla bla from me.
@@BadChizzle Thank you! I will take all of that into consideration for the future...I'm completely new at this and just going with what I feel is natural. Gretsch used “speed nuts” for the muffler system. You can still get em at hardware stores. Great work! I did one similar to yours. Excellent refurbishing!
