Some people say that the guest is defined "ancient creature" and others says that it is a manifestation of Aaron and theo who came out to be real.
I mean the guest is a "ancient creature", thanks to HN2. I don't think he even is a Manifestation that was created from Ted or Aaron, to me that's just a silly theory.

what I find quite interesting is that the guest looks really similar to mr. peterson in terms of clothing so there has to be a connection between the two
That's actually just the old design for the guest, originally the guest was actually supposed to be the neighbor as seen by alpha 2, which is why the old design had similar clothing to the neighbor, this ended up being retconned by the books, with the guest now being an ancient urban legend that haunts raven brooks. And yes, the neighbor does have a few connections to the guest, he built the park where the guest and the cult reside in, and apparently hello neighbor: SaR (search and rescure) reveals the guest has entered in the neighbor's house and apparently chased the neighbor, it seems mr. Peterson fears him too.
The Guest is not Theodore Peterson, also because The Guest has much thinner arms than Peterson (and the Guest's arms are also very powerful because he manages to subdue all his enemies)

Also for the record in Hello Engineer that Guest's design is the mascot of the Golden Apple Amusement Park
While he's definitely not the mascot itself, he has a connection to the Park
The guest might have caused the death of Theodore's wife, because in the full released game of hello neighbor 2 the first scene you get run off the rode by the guest jumping in front of you, and Theodore's wife died in a car crash

the body size dont match and in patch 9 he appears in the forest while the neighbor stays in the museum all i know he is a creature in hello neighbor search and rescue you can see the shadow of the guest ontop of the neighbor i think its a creature who haunts raven brooks and the neighbor (Theodore Peterson) even in the tv show we can see that neighbor gets put in jail but the guest is still there and the neighbor just got arrest by the cops so be cant escape its not possible

Guest was conformed to be Neighbor on Reset Day and The Raven Brooks Disaster. You can also see Neighbor Guest in Hello Guest files. But then they made books, comics and old games non-canon to the HN2. Unfortunately, the universe is too messed up right now

You need to watch the season 2 teaser. There is alot of lore! We have a really good theory of who is the Guest. It is most likely Franklin Peterson aka Theo's old brother. Franklin was experimented on by his own father & he became the The guest so how. Also the Cultist members can control him too so the deaths he did was not his fault.
Buddy the guest he was talking about in the video was book guest not animated series one. Animated series has different lore. Plus guest is an ancient creature. It is confirmed in hello neighbor 2 and books.
And also I thought Franklin was the shadow guy we see in the alpha versions of hello neighbor in the basement

For those who remember the days of HN2 Pre Alpha, Theodore was mainly supposed to be the visitor. And what we may have known is that this isn’t canon for any reason at all. Luckily AS and the HN2 we know today proves that Theodore is not the visitor.
