Didn't the War in Heaven happen because the Necrontyr were angry at the Space Toads?
That one is also called the war in heaven! I've read some stuff saying how the mythological war in heaven is the Eldari interpretation, and retelling of that conflict, but from how I interpret the lore, I'd say that the two are separate conflicts, just named the same. I'll cover the Necron war in heaven to a greater capacity at some point in the future.

The version I heard, while meandering through the empty streets of Iyanden, was that Khaine actually fought Slaanesh to a standstill, but then Khorne, not wanting to see this upstart beat another war god, did the deed himself, so that Slaanesh wouldn't absorb his essence. Otherwise, a very fun video, and thank you for the sermon.
I've also heard that version! But if I recall correctly it was from one of the older white dwarf articles from the 90s, although it was later referenced in a more recent novel regarding the Ynarri. I chose to omit it since the 9th edition codex does not mention Khorne being involved, and I'm personally of the mind that the "official lore" should be restricted to the rule books/codices, although I'll dip into black library/white dwarf material if nothing exists in the official books. That being said, I'm all for the interpretation of Khorne being involved, and it would be in keeping with his character to want to steal away such a powerful soul from an upstart chaos God, so if it's the take you, or anyone else wishes to take, then 100% go for it!

Sometimes, I complain about the blank spots, and vagaries, GW tosses around with their lore, but more often, I appreciate that there can be fifteen variations given to us, abd then still none of them may be "right". 😊 Everyone is a liar, or have their own reasons to tell the version most favorable to them, and it means that even I, as a fan, may. E able to have my way in "what happened". From an outside the verse perspective, it can even be fun to see which iterations fans learn, and repeat. Hell, I'm sure a few people even still like the idea that there is/was a half-Eldar Space Marines Librarian, serving the Ultramarines. 😁 Thank you for the wonderful video!

Could you do a video on power weapons? Alot online says power weapons are space marine only weapons but that's simply not true as many guardsmen officers, aristocrats, commissars, and others carry power weapons. How are they made? How does a guardsmen get their hands on them? They also appear in hive gangs how do all these people use power weapons? How to they fit into 40k society as a whole?

It’s a far better story for the Eldar than “yeah a bunch of frog guys made them to be soldiers to fight machines” 😂.
I honestly believe the Eldar operate like the Orks. So with that said, I do truly believe that Slaneesh is the only “god” of the Eldar. Maybe Khane as well, but other than that no I do not think any of the gods in this video actually exist.
Although, if they are like the orcs, and believe it hard enough, then I guess they could come to exist.
