Honestly I was expecting just a basic top 10 of things to do, but the way you explained properly everything, gave the prices, how to access, and even the historical context and informations are really appreciated, good work !
Thank you so much you introduced Taiwan in your youtube channel, allowing people around the world to learn more about Taiwan. For the stinky tofu part, you made my day, I know many foreigners don’t like this flavor, but it truly represents the authentic street food in Taiwan. I love it so much! Thanks a lot again :)
I love what you said about embracing slow travel - it’s exactly how I approach my trips, especially in Japan. Taking my time lets me really soak in the city, leaving some spots unexplored for next time, which I don’t mind at all. It makes each visit more special! I’m heading to Taiwan at the end of this month, and this guide is incredibly helpful - beautifully put together, too!
Awesome! This is exactly the type of vlog I was looking for! My wife and I are visiting Taiwan for the first time next month, and we’ll definitely try out the things you did. Thumbs up!
Such a great vlog, informative and straight to the point, I love the chill vibes too, reminds me of my own personnality hehe. New sub here ;) and looking forward to my trip to Taiwan at the end of this year, yay!
It would have to be trying out Lao Shandong homemade noodles - we did it on our first day here and it was SO delicious. It really set the mood for our trip! There was the soy milk breakfast too, because it was amazing having breakfast among locals in a small, cozy shop. Heck, everything that involved food was an instant highlight for me!
Thank you for the video, I find yours was very helpful. 1. Can you please be more specific how to catch a bus from Taipei to Jioufen? 2. I also find Lotus Pond is an interesting place. Would you recommend? If so, how to get there? Thank you
Hi! We took the 965 shuttle bus. More information here: amazingjiufen.tw/en/ Did you mean the Lotus Pond in Kaohsiung? We took a train from Taipei to Kaohsiung, then from our hotel, used Uber to get there :) Definitely recommend going there, it was awe-inspiring!
Hi! We stayed in RF Hotel Zhongxiao which is near the MRT and near (1.7km) Taipei 101. Good rooms for a budget hotel and accessible, so would reco. We also stayed in Apause inn near the main MRT station and near Ximending. We also had a big room for a budget hotel, though the sanitation was questionable (lots of dirt under the bed).

I loved every minute of being there! And for the stinky tofu, the more I ate it, the more I liked it 😂
