    Thanks for posting , and the good info and nicely detailed video .
    And the reply to a T. Morgan was helpful on what to use for filler , if you have no broken pieces .
    Have to repair an outside spigot that was cemented in , and no access to the water line from " behind " ,, as the water lines are in the slab cement ( Florida , older townhome ) .
    So I'm going to break out some block from the inside and get to water line ( pipe ) that way ,,,, and repair that part .
    It's in garage .
    Again ,, Thanks for the info ! 👍 .

      Tampa Bay Dino thanks, surprising that a lot of people don’t know about the joys of hydronic cement

    good demonstration. I have found the quickrete is more user friendly than the power bag of concrete mix.

    Thank you. this is just what i was looking for. Quick question. What can i use to fill the hole before laying new concrete? it looks as if you used some old cracked cement but what can i buy if i do not have old concrete laying around?

    • @CharleyThePlumber
      @CharleyThePlumber  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      T. Morgan I use the stuff we broke out just for a filler and to give some extra strength, I have used stones or even went to a big box store and bought a patio stone or cinder block to break up and use, you can also use newspaper to fill the back and slowly work from the bottom up. This cement dries pretty quick so mix small batches at a time and don’t forget the rubber gloves and to subscribe

    Whoever poured that concrete wall did an incredible job finishing it to look like a cinder block wall.
