It's actually been proved that it's not true. Since Butterfree was made way before Venonat
*One thing I'd like to clear up:* Males only had higher attack stats in Gen II when sex was determined by attack IV (Individual Value) instead of Personality Value, like we see in Gen III and beyond. Since the advent of Natures in Gen III, identical Pokémon of the same species will only have a higher attack stat if they have an attack boosting nature *(Adamant, Lonely, Naughty or Brave)* or higher attack IVs, which were made completely independent of sex in Gen III.
You could compare a newly-hatched female Machop with an Adamant nature (+Atk, -Sp.Atk) and max attack IVs (31) to her brother with a Modest nature (+SpAtk, -Atk) and 0 Attack IVs. By level 100 with maxed out attack EVs (Effort Values,) the fully-evolved female Machamp would have a much higher attack stat and the male’s attack will be lower (even with max ATK EVs.) I’ve hatched multiple Pokémon of the same species and nature where the female had a slightly higher attack, that would be due to the IVs (Individual Values.)
This is the reason why I don't care if I use males or females long as the individual Pokémon has a good nature and useful ability *(Bold, Trace male Gardevoir for example.)* For the majority of species, sex is purely aesthetic. The only real purpose is for breeding, evolving certain species such as Gallade or Vespiquen or using certain moves or abilities (Attract, Captivate, Cute Charm and Rivalry.)
*Fun fact:* since shininess was determined by IVs in Gen II, females of a species with a 7-1 chance of being male (Starters, Eeveelutions, Fossils, Snorlax and the Togepi line) could never be shiny.
Almost all of these "facts" are either very obvious, dumb theories or complete bullshit. Makes me question the credibility of the other videos.

Number 31 is incorrect. The generation that got the fewest new Pokémon is Generation 6 with just 73 Pokémon! But after that the second fewest is Gold and Silver!

Azuril is a Pre-evolved Pokémon to Marill.

Yeah I was a bit dissapointed at this video... If you should have fact you should really have FACT and not just think of something... Yes Second Generation WAS the smallest amount of Pokémon BEFORE Gen 6..But that they don't say here and I know for a fact that they have done this Video after Gen 6 came out.. They mention it a couple of times and you can see at the date of this video´s realize.. So yeah.. If you are a true Pokémon-nerd like me and have a LITTLE OCD-thingy going on.. Not everyone grew up with RBY and GSC. I, myself, was born during the time Gen 3 was about to be released in Japan, and I grew up with Gen 4. Not everyone had the originals.
they're still around. I played silver on my computer with open emu, but you don't even need that (it's an app that libraries roms and compiles emulators for a bunch of consoles). virtualboy advance is quick and easy.
It's good to get back to the roots of pokemon if you're a real fan.

No, I don't believe they were. I'll have to look it up later, but I'm fairly sure that shinies never had any particular advantage. They were just incredibly rare, so myself and all the other schoolyard kids just ASSUMED they were stronger.
TalonSky I guess it'd be more accurate to say that Shiny Pokemon were commonly overall stronger than regular colored pokemon. Whether a pokemon was shiny or not was determined by their IV's in gen 2. In order to be shiny, its Defense, Speed, and Special IVs are all 10 & its Attack IV is 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, or 15.

Base stats and IVs are separate from gender identifiers in the game code, meaning a male and female of the same species have the same RNG chance at the same stats. The only thing I could think of that would be an exception to this rule is the Nidroan families, since male and female are different Pokedex entries, however while the male Nidoran line has higher attack, the female line has higher defenses, and the two share the same base stat total.

Shiny pokemon are no stronger or weaker then their non-shiny counterparts. Also (except for a few variations meant to show sexual dimorphis), male pokemon tend to have the same stats as their female counterparts. Do check your facts before assuming. One look at pokemon's stats would prove that, in most cases, there are no difference.

I hate to say it but you're wrong about the Venonat evolution. They look alike, yes, but the final evolutions weren't switched. Caterpie's final evolution was always meant to be Butterfree and Venonat's was always meant to be Venamoth. One piece of evidence is the fact that it makes no sense that a gnat would evolve into a butterfly and a caterpillar would evolve into a moth.

Actuall, the only implication for that Venomoth is based on a moth is it's English name. That doesn't hold a squat when the original, Japanese, name is Morphon, which is named after morpho which is a kind of butterfly.
Btw, according to Bulbapedia, Caterpie's tail is partially based on that of a hawk moth larvae.

I come from the future in the year 2019 and we're getting sword and shield.
Cool I came from 2020 and sword and shield are out.
Fact 23 is a Theory and not confirmed by Game Freak or Nintendo. The reason Gold and Silver was hint is that a hand full of pokemon from Second Gen already were developed but where never really added in to the First Gen games, Ho-oh also would be a good reason behind Ash not ageing since the Pokedex mentions a wish of eternal happiness being granted if you see this pokemon. (Taking that into account, there should technically where alittle more than 190 but most of the scraped Gen 2 pokemon where in the pile of hex and decimals known as MissingNo. and could be traded to Gen 2 to get actual pokemon from that region). Fact 31 is false, Gen 6 (X and Y) added the least amount of pokemon with only 69 at launch. Generation 3 was considered "The Black Sheep" due to this being a time after Backlash from Pokemania was happening and most of the older players where "To old" for the game cause a massive fallout in sales and such, not to mention many people use to not like the Hoenn region in general. Fact 60, If you where talking about IVs and EVS, those where changed in Gen 3, the main reason it was more popular was because the Internet made it possible for people to battle without knowing each other IRL. Fact 61 is false due to breeding being added in Second Gen and pokemon that are hatched are Level 1, However, the Gen 1 glitch was true. Fact 67, I want to say that was false however I can not remember all the rosters off the top of my head. I do know it has had Gen 1, Gen 4, and Gen 6 pokemon as Playable characters respectively. Fact 72 is only true if you are only going off the core series, there where 2 spin-off games in 3D that had a full adventure. Also, on the topic of Gen 6 being a rebirth, technically Gen 3 was suppose to be aswell since they where advancing to a new handheld that had stronger potiental. Point on the best pokemon by resistances, before fairy type the 2 pokemon where Sableye and Spirtomb having NO WEAKNESSES! The odds of having two spindas having the same is 1 in 4,294,967,295 due to the spots being based off it's personality values, however, it is possible for two personality values to make the same spot pattern making the chance alittle higher. (Sorry for nerding out, but I had to point out certain things I found not really mentioned are not acurate.)

About Fact 61, in Gens 2 and 3 all eggs hatched at level 5 (which makes the level 2, 3, and 4 pokemon in the first routes all the more pathetic). It wasn't until Gen 4 that they hatched at level 1. They definitely should have elaborated more on this point in the video.
About fact 67, Gen 1 has Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Ivysaur, Squirtle, and Mewtwo. Gen 2 has Pichu. Gen 4 has Lucario. Gen 6 has Greninja. As for Gen 3, Lucario was hinted at in the original Mystery Dungeon games, with the best ranking being called Lucario Rank, but he is officially considered to be a part of Gen 4. It could also be that they count Pokemon Trainer as representing Gen 3 because of Pokemon Trainer's design being based off of the Fire Red and Leaf Green remakes, which were also a part of Gen 3, yet they still are games that are based on Gen 1 Pokemon so it still doesn't count. There is no sufficient reasoning for the claim that only Gen 5 lacks playable character representation, since there really isn't any for Gen 3 either.

You should redo this video correcting all ur mistakes -_- also please? Original antagonist to Red is Green, not blue. America released the Games of Red and Blue instead of green but that doesn't make Green Blue, Blue is the girl in the original manga adventure.
hikari2314 Although that that is all true, in FireRed and LeafGreen Green is the female protagonist in the American release and Japan's Green (the rival) became Blue. Even in Gen 2 and in HeartGold and SoulSilver, he is known as Blue when he over took the role of Viridian City Pokémon Gym Leader after losing to Red 3 years prior in the Indigo Pokémon League.

In the English versions, the rival is Blue, while in the Japanese version, it’s Green.
Leaf used to be a fan-name for the female protagonist in FR/LG, and was thought to be Green, but since Blue was Green in Japan, the fan-name stuck, and her official name is Leaf.

actually there was 5 pokemon games in the 3rd generation which were fire red, leaf green, ruby, sapphire, and emerald, and the pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team, and pokemon pinball ruby and sapphire version, and there was a glitch for the ds lite where if you had any gameboy advance games in the gameboy slot with pokemon mystery dungeon blue rescue team in the ds slot it would delete the data off that gameboy game but the only exception was if you had pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team in the gameboy advance slot

I think the fact that the male protagonists name in Gen IV is supposed to be a reference to Mother 3. It is likely this is the case since Diamond and Pearl came out the same year as Mother 3 and Ape (the company that makes the Mother games) was renamed to Creatures Inc. and helped work on the Pokémon games.

For some Pokemon (like meowstic) gender does affect stats. With meowstic, the female is better with attacking and the male is a better supporter
