Thud Blue ends up being a Gym Leader replacing Giovanni and Red...well Red does his own thing. I know the Manga explores him deeply. I just hadn't read the Manga in years. Professor Oak, all boils down to it. If we just break down him. He has to be a sociopath. As he acts all friendly. But deep down it is a mask. He has little sympathy for anything but his own work and accomplishments. Assuming. This is mostly based on little facts and opinions.

Also, it looks like Blaine's implied to be related to Flint. It even explains why the Original Bird Trio are more common than other legendaries. (Plus, the unintentional horror in-game, explicit in this, that Kanto was forced to lose any of the later-gen elements. Fake Dexes.)
I know this is supposed to be a prequel to fire red, but I hope that there is a sequel to this game that goes alongside reds journey but shows how he was being used
Damn, this was actually pretty cool. Lore like this just makes the game feel more rich and really makes you think about a lot of the stuff we grew up with and had seen. Its almost as if the very reality we were living growing up had been a ruse the entire time. Good video!

There is a reference in the second part of this game that Rufflet hasn't gotten to yet, (which is like an entire game anyway) that says that all of the "legends" entries are basically mythological tales that the League came up with. What do you expect with smartphones in 1800s Hisui?

Blue, the grandson of the guy who's trying to make him into a pokémon master, decides to start bullying him and causes him to get interested in pokémon, with the Pokémon Professor living in his town… Ya'll see what I'm trying to say here? Like, fellas- GSC/HGSS tells us he hasn't talked with his mother in THREE YEARS, and a good chunk of Blue's dialogue is telling us how much he misses him (and how Ethan reminds him of Red), Oak's done some fuckery here. At least he and his -boyfie- best friend are now enjoying vacation in a tropical island while doing what they do best, pokémon battling, together.
I wonder now how Agatha ends up in the pokemon league after all this. And how they keep the story when there are still so many people that remember the way it actually was. Koga Blaine Mr. Fugi etc.
Two Words: Lake Trio. If the Pokémon League created all Pokémon then that would mean they created Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf for the exact purpose of rewriting people's memories. And I know that only Uxie is associated with the mind but if the Pokédex is all fake then that would mean that the Lake Trio's powers wouldn't necessarily be Knowledge, Emotion, and Willpower.

Before they were just local warlords with limited power; now they were seen as the de facto leaders of their communities. They no longer had to use fear as warlords, but merely use the "respect" they received as gym leaders to maintain stability with them receiving an outsized proportion of the benefit of the stability.

And Prof. Oak in this game (which non canon btw) made a lie to the world by creating pokedex that tells fake lores, teaching student about the (fake) world of pokemon, got backup by pretty much all of the govs, gym leaders, and leagues. Yes the most parents might know the reap story, but the childrens (red or pretty much all of the young ppl) doesnt know about that because the whole world is lying.
Actually, in the lore, they were actually a thing before. The game has a prequel that it's set in Orre in 1820s which explains part of the lore of the game.
I think I'll never look at the 3 legendary birds the same. I'll keep remembering that each of these birds simply saw each one of its species died, until they're the last ones alive.
"Legendaries" being actually the last of it's kind and facing extinction without a mate, much like the last Rhino IRL, would make a lot of sense. What was once common, will forever be lost once the last one dies. Unless it's a ghost pokemon, or Arceus (and by extention, Legends Arceus game) which I have no idea how that would fit into this fanfic lore with all the time traveling and whatnot.

He didnt create mons, his colleagues brought them over to Kanto before he was sent there. Also there is a lore text file in the game where everything is taken from official gen 1 and beta sources. Honestly the further I got into the video, the more I disliked the story. I have a theory. With the Hisui region and when this game is set (around the 1900s) the "mutations" and lore in this wouldn't make sense. But I have a theory. The Pokémon is the Hisui region could have also been mutated. And maybe something could have happened for them to go extinct or for them to have de-mutated or something, bringing back animals somehow. Then those same mutations could have happened again, but this time, the mutations affected some "Pokémon" differently. (example: Weavile and Sneaseler) But with this game, Mew was created after the events of PLA, implying that Mew, according to this fan game, is NOT the first Pokémon. Although there is a possibility that they could have used much older DNA (probably a fossil) to create Mew. So Mew in this theory could still be the first Pokémon. So Mew could have been different to what WE know. If there are any problems with this theory, let me know and I can correct it. Edit: This theory sounds rubbish now that I realise Rowlit is kinda overstating it. Edit 2: Plus, this is just a fangame. The mutations are interesting, but it basically dumped the concept of Arceus. This was still a fun theory to come up with though.

Oh my fucking god that was insane I love it and the plot twists at the end was fucking nuts the Pokedex was fake basically it was coded by AI, the Pokémon War happened it's insane this is basically Pokémon meets World war 1 and 2 with AI Sada and Turo from scarlet and violet and Volo from legends Arceus in the mix it's kinda of like a time paradox when things r not supposed to be there like Pokémon being discovered but they didn't exist back then this game is fucking insane and incredible on a whole nother level it's crazy 🤯🤯🤯

the story is good but one BIG plot hole are the literal god pokemon and fossil pokemon
not really they explained in the game that they were made up as "fake" history for people to believe in, they created them and made fake legendaries and well I guess "gods" since they control all of em anyways :3

I have a theory.
With the Hisui region and when this game is set (around the 1900s) the "mutations" and lore in this wouldn't make sense.
But I have a theory.
The Pokémon is the Hisui region could have also been mutated. And maybe something could have happened for them to go extinct or for them to have de-mutated or something, bringing back animals somehow. Then those same mutations could have happened again, but this time, the mutations affected some "Pokémon" differently. (example: Weavile and Sneaseler)
But with this game, Mew was created after the events of PLA, implying that Mew, according to this fan game, is NOT the first Pokémon. Although there is a possibility that they could have used much older DNA (probably a fossil) to create Mew. So Mew in this theory could still be the first Pokémon.
So Mew could have been different to what WE know.
If there are any problems with this theory, let me know and I can correct it.
Edit: This theory sounds rubbish now that I realise Rowlit is kinda overstating it.
Edit 2: Plus, this is just a fangame. The mutations are interesting, but it basically dumped the concept of Arceus. This was still a fun theory to come up with though.
I actually liked the theory haha but also this is just a fan game with fans ideas and what not :3 tho as for Hisui I do personally just think that Pokemon within the world were brought in by Arceus and not invented by Oak and Hisuian Pokemon simply just died out over time like how we don't see Doodoo birds anymore cause they simply got hunted to extinction
To be fair this version of the lore is much cooler. Arceus and all the "deities" are just a lot of bull-crap that never truly made sense.
My thought was that Hisui was just propaganda. Like, none of the events of LegArc ever happened, but the league planted enough “Evidence” to convince people of a completely alternative history.
honestly this looks really good but i dont think Oak is that ancient and all the pokemon thing is that new to the world.
They really took a lot of liberties for storytelling because that wasn't who professor oak was at all in anything cannon.
