I can confirm that the DHL services are awesome and fast shipping to me here in Texas. Highly recommend purchasing anything from these guys. Awesome support and fast shipping.
I put in an order for some Gilles billet brake and shifter and it showed up in Texas insanely quick. I did have to sign for it, but was home for a snow storm in the area so I was here to take delivery. Good job and thanks!
Loving those bundles! Constructive criticism: try to either get your focus sorted (take it out of AF and select a fixed distance) or put yourself and the bike in the same plane - the focus shifting was pretty distracting.
Great video, I like the enduro / super Moto vibe. Quick question, should I spec with or without the centre stand? I guess it’s convenient but doesn’t look as good with one, and I presume it could touch down in some corners. Many thanks, keep up the good work 👍
Considerations about the move from a big GS to a 690 platform seems to become a trend lately. Big Rock Moto has just shown his GasGas build. I tested the GasGas ES700 over a weekend after a year riding a 1250GS Adventure ofrroad and am waiting for the delivery in some weeks. Made a video about it. It is going to be a rally peoject bike. Looking forward for you to jumping on that train and showing what comes out :)
I can’t wait on how u are going to set up the 1300GSA most especially the aux lights , how u are going to mount them with the already existing lights… would love to see the new adaptations.
I checked out your website for that pillion seat replacement cover, it does not look like you sell that item. May I ask where you got that from? Great vid as usual except for the erratic focus, great info anyway. Cheers
This is a great company to deal with super helpful, I have had 2 Africa Twins kitted out with these guys, and Tom is a perfectionist, coffee is good too, great vid Steve, Rob Wirral, got any lights for my ZH2?
Quick question about the Rizoma tail tidy. What did you end up doing with the actual Radar after removing the OEM tail? Did you get a message on your TFT or plug it back and tucked in somewhere? Thanks in advance.
Good idea to put aftermarket exhaust on Gs 1300, its probably the only thing that will drown out the top end rattle on 1300,s, they sound like top ends are about to go, maybe they will time will tell.
Bought a Chigee from Steve to ship to me in the US. First, great service all around…who else could offer 2 years of warrantee. Second, when Steve says fast shipping, he is playing it down. I don’t know how he does it but I suspect he used an ICBM to get it to me in record time that puts the US Postal service to shame. A Bike Thing-great products and great service…and ultra fast shipping.
You mention taking your Chigee into the hotel and doing work on it, how as I understand with the BMW unit it needs to be in the cradle to power up, I have had to park my bike close to the house to get wifi and do update, wishing there was a port and lead to use indoors... Cheers
I would really like the D7 Pro light on my 1300GS. But Im bit puzzled with the connectinon y splitrs and etc. Is ther or will be there vidou how to connect them?? Thank you
I can testify to the fast shipping. Really surprised me how fast I got my items here in Kentucky ,USA. Faster than Amazon...lol You mentioned the Chigee. One of my disappointments with the Chigee is that that it lack voice propts, commands for Android Auto. This was a feature I just assumed would be available with Android Auto. I had Android Auto on a Goldwing etcc.., built in of course, and it had voice prompts. Chigee says it's an issue with the Android Auto features and they are supposedly working on a fix. Point of contention with me is they don't mention this in any of their ADs. On my Wing or any other vehicle I have AA on, I can simply say"hey Google....yada, yada ,yada" and I'm either navigating where I want to go or playing music, calling etc... Just wondering if you have any info? Thanks.
Great great content, thanks! I am about to pull the trigger on the Arrow Full Exhaust System, because my brand new 1300GS with OEM exhaust sounds poorly for my personal taste. Do you know if installing this aftermarket system would void my bike´s warranty?
@@OARotifasooooo much beter! Gear shiftting on the 1300 is shit, i thought when i got it would change. Not really! RS is not a off road bike the gs is, but i never go off road. The power on the RS is awesome!
Regarding lean angles on stock 1300GS - I rented the Trophy version with more terrain focused tires at official BMW dealer for a weekend. Completely stock bike in road mode and according to the Connected app I reached 49° left, 47° right, did not scrape the pegs. So I guess 50° is the limit :)
@@ABIKETHING I think the GSA is a bit taller and the Spanish hairpin had a positive camber so pegs didn’t touch down. If you’re thinking of some off road tyres in the future definitely give the Raids a go. 52 degrees on tarmac then worked brilliantly on a rocky, steep and loose trail the next day. I believe Richy Vida runs on these tyres most of the time
How do you find the 1-2-3 gearchange on the 1300? The demo bike I rode was awful, really stiff and clonky through the change so bad you could feel it through the whole bike. Weirdly 4-5-6 was like butter. With the clutch too, not the quick shift. It's put me right off changing from my 1250 GS.
as an owner of a 1300 which is coming up to 12 months old and on 6500 miles, I recently did 3000 miles in two weeks and feel the gear change was not brilliant even for a GS, bit on the slow and clonky side, and the odd graunch despite having the clutch lever fully pulled in - bit disappointing - wicked torque from that engine though. heard that some of these new ones unless enduro or tramuntana spec have a plastic gear change lever
Long time ago you used to have LoneRider soft bags. Don’t you have them anymore? Have you seen their new lights? Compare to Denali? Thanks!!! Missing your videos.
Lone rider do not work with dealers, they only work with influencers. Although we influence, we’re not “influencers” so Lone Rider will not allow us to be an authorised dealer. We have tried but they refuse. I am still debating on whether to create content on their new lights. We have had the pleasure of testing them so we do have our opinion on them.
I forgot to cover this in the video but the result was the radar could not be removed. We could turn it off but you can’t unplug it. It’s an integral part of the makeup for GS that has factory radar. So we hid it under the rear luggage plate.
@@ABIKETHINGBody motion is causing the focus to hunt back and forth from the bike to you. Having more horizontal separation between you and the bike in the frame should eliminate the focus issue. Thanks for the video.
