Being a student of the adjacent RKM residential college 'Vidyamandira' and an ICM lover , I was there among the audience , back in 8th January , 2018. Will never forget this incredible Bhimpalasi. Heard more than 100 times.

Very often I listen to his program I being a devotee of the Holy Trio , blessed to listen his program in Belur math. Soulful divine music. Pranam at the holy feet of Gurudev Sri Rama Krishna, Holy mother and Swamiji Maharaj.

Just a guess: Sorry if I am wrong - Pandit Ji asking the disciple for the lyrics of the antra of "Birj mein" is the most beautiful part for me, He whispers "Sab sakhiyan mila" and Pandit Ji then takes over like a legend... Love the Guru-Shishya parampara!

This is a beautiful traditional and popular composition in Raag Bhimpalasi, sung beautifully by Pandit Venkatesh Kumar ji, who is a leading Khayal Singer.
However, this rachna has been wrongly described as Bhajan in the description and in fact, to my mind, very humbly and respectfully I would like to submit that this had an inappropriate vilambit laya rachna to sing in a Dharmic place like Belur Math - it is totally Shringar Rasa, if you see the meaning of words of Vilambit Laya - Jaa Jaa Re apne Mandirwa, Suno Pawe mori Saas Nandiya (Go go to your Home, my mother- in-law and Sister-in-law can hear. Mandir is used not only as place of Worship but also as Home and here it is used in the sense of home).
I may be wrong so I will be happy to corrected by a Gunijan of Shastriya Sangeet.
