I have a Fenix E35 which does not have a charging port. I'm guessing the E35 has been replaced by the E35R. The battery has a charging slot or you can use a charger. I prefer that, I really don't like these rubbery covers on the charging port, I see them as a weak point. There is no magnetic tailcap. It's the same thing with my Fenix TK16 V2, no charging port but a charging slot on the battery.

It can go horizontal with the magnet.
