Great video! Man, I'm so looking forward to watching Amen and the rest of the young Rockets develop! The last three H-Town draft classes have been insane!
this is a great video, thank you. he is on another level physically. however i did not know he had so much fiscal talent and ability. jk, but i dont think people understand how good he's going to be.
@@Shanemo007he averages 13 11 4 2 steals as a starter as a rookie, he will average over 20 regardless of it he gets a jumper dude Is one of the most athletic players we will ever see just watch
He’s only started 8 games… lol. He averages 8.1 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.7 apg. I don’t get where you see this 20 ppg potential even if he is young? Hes only had 20+ twice out of 47 games and thats because he can’t shoot. He is shooting 15.7% from 3. That’s awful. I guess we will see in the future.
@@Blue-no4jt yeah Whitemore can play SG & SF, even small PF if needed. Whitemore a grown man with Kobe mentality. Jaleen Green he playing like a little girl.
@@wetzel1941 I feel like in today's NBA, Whitmore is pretty much a straight up SF or perhaps SF/PF, not a SG/SF. He doesn't move fast enough laterally to stick with true guards, and cannot consistently create his own shot yet. That's why the Rockets can't really replace Jalen with Whitmore. There are times when that self shot creation is needed and Jalen can really do that for them with consistency. Having Tari doesn't really help with that either. Also, I think Tari's natural position in the modern NBA is actually PF. Again, he's not fast enough to hang with SFs, whereas he would have an advantage over PFs because of his wingspan. To be a true SF, Tari would need to significantly improve his handle and passing. Jabari is actually closer to a SF than Tari, based on skillset. NBA positional versatility isn't just about height.
@@mr.b6629 Whitmore can definitely play SF, and even PF (so of course he plays like a grown man compared to Green, who is a straight up guard--a combo guard--not even straight up SG), but I'm not sure if Whitmore can play SG at this time. It's early, but I don't know if Whitmore can defend speedy SGs at this time. He would also need to develop more self-creation, which is what traditional SGs are required to be able to do. Jalen, for all his flaws, can do that. In fact, he might be the best shot creator on the team. Whitmore cannot. When he develops that, though, he can definitely man the SG spot. Honestly, I don't see Jalen and Cam as competing for the same spot. Jalen is more of a combo guard (PG/SG)--that's his natural position. He has some PG skills as well, and he is actually a really good defender when going up against PG who dominate the ball. He is fast enough to hang with them, and he's less likely to lose focus when guarding the ball handler, which is his biggest flaw on defense. He's also big for a PG, but small for a SG. So he's actually at an advantage when he's playing the 1. His best role is probably off the bench, but the Rockets can't really afford to do that with so little shot creation on the team.
Thank you so much!! As a rockets fan I’ve been waiting for a video like this

1:01 every time Ja does this move , it has resulted in someone’s head getting boomed on
I said this and I love him as a teammate on my player 😅
he needs to develop his 3 point shot. he will be an elite player, and one of the best young players in the league.
If they let him play PG he could be an all-timer!
Amen is perfect for the #Rockets. I WILL BE GREAT FOR Houston Rockets if they can get Ausar Thompson from the Detroit Pistons.
His defense is better than his offense. Shame there is no mention of that.

If one of them were on Minnesota 😵💫‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ that defense CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND 💍
Cant wait for the wolves to dissapoint in the playoffs and eventually implode their current roster
Can you make a Paul George breakdown
He will be a good role player. He is shooting 15.6% from 3, scary potential? Nah.
The 3 point is a big concern but role player is crazy

Can you make RJ Barrett with the Raps
We need to trade away Fred Vanfleet and Jalen Green to make room for Thompson and Whitemore ASAP!!!
Don’t you mean Vanvleet and Brooks? Whitmore is a SF, not a SG.

An explsive skywalker.
You.. know he has a brother 😂
Ive given up on jg, my moneys on this guy
this isn't aging well.
Rookie Amen already way more advanced than 3rd year Karen Green at attacking the basket.
i also think karen green is bad.
He is shooting 14% from 3. The worst in the league
think of him as a younger version of ben simmons but more durable and much better work ethic
Just watch for them gold diggers because they watching you
