I may be biased because I own the 126710BLNR, but the bezel on the Pepsi looks very dull. The BLNR’s blue is gorgeous and looks so good in the sun but can look like an all black bezel indoors.

Question on the Batman the ceramic bezel at the 12 o clock marker is that grey or white. I keep seeing both colors. Wondering if certain years the color was changed.

The gmt isn't really a sports watch as such, it was designed for airline pilots and back in the day an airline pilot was held in high esteem and associated with glamour and class, that's why the jubilee should always be on the gmt and leave the oyster for the sub, seeing as diving is seen more as a sport than flying a jumbo jet!!
You may find it hard to believe but I emailed my AD on 10/13/21 to say if he gets a Sub with date or a Batman with jubilee to let me know. I got the call to come pick up my brand new Batman with the jubilee bracelet on 10/16/21. I was torn between the Batman and the Sub. He said he had the Sub too if I wanted it. Obviously I took the Batman with jubilee. My only purchase was a 2020 Oyster Perpetual. I’m still in total shock.

Thanks. I recall seeing comments that it's likely due to the anti-reflective coating under the crystal. Newer Rolex (2020+) has the AR coating under the entire crystal and other older ones may be only under the cyclops. However, the coating is clear from what I read so the blue reflection we saw is likely due to lighting in the surrounding environment.

Why do you keep saying don't bother trying to get one at retail if your not spending big bucks at the AD. This isn't true, I got a Pepsi from my AD as my first purchase. You just have to show them your a serious collector and not a flipper and you'll get one in time.
That's great for you and you may be the 0.01% who got it as your first purchase. I have not heard anyone who's not a super VIP that was able to acquire the Pepsi in the last few years. I know of people who acquired the Batman but they are big spenders and I also know people who has been on the "list" forever and still waiting for that "call". I know things were a little different back in 2010-2015 when Rolex sports models are relatively available for purcahse. Man, how things have chnaged. There are certainly some geographic differences as well. Enjoy your Pepsi!

The Batman is the first GMT to sport a bi-color ceramic bezel in Rolex's history. Just like the Kermit/Hulk, it is modern classic now and will be a historical original in the future. Both are very nice timepieces in their own right.
The Pepsi blue is different because both the red and the blue have some of the other colour in them; they are both slightly purple, which is what allowed the to make two nearly opposite colours in ceramic.

Well, for vast majority of the viewers, they only care about Rolex. As a guy who don't work in the watch industry, I tried to cover a few other brands (Brielting, Chopard, JLC, etc.) last year, but unfortunately I got very limited view. As a tiny watch channel, I just don't have the resources to cover watches that most people don't care. That's why a lot of channels even the ones with a lot of followers use Rolex in their title as click bait. To your question why would anyone pay $15-$20K for a SS Rolex GMT? Because they can't get it from AD for these popular models so they go to the gray market. Like many fellow watch enthusiasts, I absolutely don't like the way Rolex and their AD manage the sales process but nothing is changing. For many folks, paying a premium on the gray market is the only way to acquire the watch. Plus, the value of Batman or Pepsi will stay strong and if the owner decides to sell the watch, it's unlikely to lose money (may even make more vs. what they paid at $15-$20K level). Besides a couple of other brands, most watches lose significant value the moment it's sold. And if you get into true watch making, SS watches are a lot more expensive than $20K.
Colored GMT bezels look like kiddie watches, quite unattractive and like toys. The best looking Rolex GMT watch is the newest GMT with elegant and classic Grey/Black bezel that puts all the rest of the red, blue, green and root-beer colored bezels to shame. I just bought the new gorgeous GMT which is called the Bruce Wayne model. If you too, like me, have good taste then look for Rolex GMT II model 126710GRNR.

Nice vidéo, why the cyclops has a blue reflection? I noticed this blue reflection a lot of Rolexes especially on the recent ones
