how many grams ?

I tend to sweat whenever i wear watches, do you think the cloth strap is gonna be any help? Genuinely dont know what to do.

I grew with the size of the watch. Should’ve been a 41mm and had a slightly shorter lug to lug. But a 7in wrist can hold the watch no issues. And the fact that historically this watch in almost its exact form was released in 1942 years before Patek made the same exact looking watch historically makes it very important as most people think Breitling is copying Patek which they are not.

The blue by a mile. Slate dials are glary and have limited legibility due to lack of contrast between dial and handset. Its pretty simple. Rolex does not produce great legibility in general , explorer 2 226570 aside and the cyclops does not help either. Unlike a Tudor pelagos or a Blancpain FF or an IWC Aquatimer for example which provide sharp vision. But the blue is a nice piece if not the nicest in the Rolex range.

47 is perfect, but recently I upgraded to 51mm...and I have a very small wrist, you know what it doesn't look that weird at all because it's a tool watch, not a dress up watch....thanks great vid

Reminds me of the mat grey colour you see on Porsches and Audi's. I think its a beautiful watch and I prefer it to the other GMT colour varients.

That’s a good looking watch. Nice taper on the bracelet too. I’m a big fan of an aggressive taper because it harkens back to a great period of watch making. My Tudor BB54 has the aggressive taper (I got it on the rubber strap). And it’s probably one of the most appealing things about the fit of the watch. And my Explorer 124270 has an aggressive taper as well. It goes from 19mm down to 14 or even 13mm. That type of taper just makes the wearing experience better. You forget you have them on. My other watches that don’t have a taper will remind you every minute that you’re wearing a watch.

I have this watch and it's a stretch on my 7.5 inch wrist....its WAY too big on yours.

I have this watch with its original stainless steel strap. Just one comment here is that with this "Black" dial version when viewed at a slight angle is you get a really nice brushed grey hue coming off the dial which I think adds another dimension to the otherwise black dial.

I have the same watch, great daily. Does not wear as thick as it measures because the caseback sinks into your wrist and the case is basically 3 parts the caseback, the midcoast and the bezel. So it appears thinner. I wonder what strap this one has? It is not the OEM rubber.

Also, what really defines the way a watch wears is the lug to lug distance. Also, like it was mentioned already, you never factor in the sensor for the overall thickness, the same would then apply to the overall diameter if you include the buttons and crown guards.

Definitely not meant to be worn with a shirt with cuffs.

there's no difference technically, just the color preference or if you fancy the technicalities of the ceramics then go for the batman as this is the 1st bi-color combination.

I have the Grey one shown in the Video and the new green one. Price in Europe for all new Types is 49 €, Inc. the bronze one. Whats great about the strap is that it's much stronger and thicker than the previous ones. Like the strap on the ga 2100. Greets!

This watch is a plastic joke from a budget supermarket shop it looks terrible looks like something from a comic book. Better off getting a citizen automatic or Seiko automatic total wast of money 😂😂

Excellent review with great details. What the watch face size? Bezel size is 42.3, what’s just the bezel width2 or 3mm wide?. Then what’s just the face wave size ( not including bezel?

I have a used original Fifty Fathoms 45mm in steel and my wrist is 5.9 inches😂 How it fit my wrist? Well I wear it with short sail canvas straps and occasionally nato strap that I bought both from Blancpain boutique. It’s big I know but it’s not impossible to pull it off
