That Dep hang was so convenient, they made a mistake, didn't know about loss of defense N3, last trial and got hung without revealing that jackal target was fake. Just usual Tuba plot armor tbh.
Games like these are why I love inquisitor and wish it replaced Exe in regular ToS. You *can* play both sides, there's times where evils want your help, there's times where town wants your help, and of course there's all the deception involved too. It's fun to have a true neutral role! Especially with extra factions to cooperate with! So many opportunities for fun situations, it's great!
@@grubbygeorge2117 Hey that's fair! It definitely has its moments, I just find that when it's played "optimally" it's very boring. You hard push day 2, if it's an exe town still removes an evil from the game and the odds aren't bad for the exe to get another one, so they follow the push even if it's sus. If you play exe for longer games it's fun, though Inquisitor takes a similar concept and forces you to stick around for the long haul!
@@karalyzel3177 Are hard d2 pushes really optimal? I've always had better results taking it slow. If you hard push and the person is something easily confirmable, you just lost the game on the spot.
@@grubbygeorge2117 less players you have, more confirmed they get, unless you get lucky and snipe an evil... and even in that situation, it can easily be an evil win, and they most likely wont sacrifice a teammember, lol. but also a lot of people are impatient and rather... not smart, so zergrush often works cuz of that.
Still the Inqius claim does kinda tell Pandora they have a recruit there and to try and weed them out for when it’s safe to out the rec. And an outted Inquisitor can just be Psy fodder to use to find town members on good visions.
Killing inquisitor early is sometimes not a good idea for town. Town needs pandora/apoc/coven to start dying and the nature of Inquisitor means the evils can be targeted. If town wastes an early hang on roles like Inq, it gives the said evil factions that breath of fresh air to get vote parity with town, specially if they have access to Conj/Jinx/doomsday- mechanics

The idea was to get the Inq to help them mislynch, then take out the Jackal. 8 players, minus inq and jackal and a mislynch makes 5, their coven convert kills and now it's a 2v2 Jackal & Inquisitor win! Here's the flaws in their plan, I don't believe they understood that Inq loses their vanquish when they get a non-heretic (or assumed the SC was a heretic), and of course it relied on trusting that the Inquisitor wasn't lying about the Jackal target but the coven one.

@@cyanideytcuriousseadoggo Doesn't only Inquisitor get feedback on if a heretic perishes? Tuba lied in part, and on average Inquisitor has 2 town it's pretty normal for them to lie when caught out. From the Jackal's point of view what reason was there for the Inquisitor to vanquish the Soul Collector, it's quite unusual for them to just guess with a vanquish. It was a long shot for sure, but with one of their converts outed by the coroner it was all they had.

someone else said something interesting, its a bad idea for town to lynch Inquisitor due to evils having more breathing room to gain maj. if Town didnt let him live, then thats means another rec Banshee kill, Poisoner poisoning, Baker breading, SC getting souls, rec Psychic and the Jackal vibing, 6 evils with Inq down and 2 town dead and 1 dying with no leads on pandora. 6 v 6, evils have majority. It's likely Pandora could've just quickly won while recruits and jackal loses due to Baker or Death. I know you had book but what if Poisoner hit your recruit, if he wasnt healed, you'd both die, Jackal would start killing. Baker or Death probably wins for Pandora unless Jackal kills them both. either way it was unlikely for Jackals to win with Inquisitor dead, and would likely snowball into a Pandora victory. It was in best interest for Town to keep Inquisitor around to try and guess lynch someone else, and for Inq to be telling the truth and hunting for pandora and jackal (which funnily enough, would've erased all of Jackal if true) both Jackal and Pandora wanted Inq gone due to A. Pandora not knowing you're recruit yet, and B. cause your death would've caused it to be solo Jackal, and he'd be 'hunting' for him next, unless Jackal kills him instead of Pandora or town. Town made a good choice keeping Inq around as it helped lower pandora's numbers. It's a shame you got outed by Coroner which actually fucked you over.

Ik it's kinda random but I think I figured out an actually reasonable buff to Coroner. Allow it to check two people at once to determine if one of them is the killer. That way, it can cover the list twice as fast while still allowing evils some breathing room as this Coroner cannot catch them with 100% probability.
Just started this videos, trying to wrap my head around the new roles, but then I see inq.. heretics.. and memories started flooding in of Throne of Lies, before the game died from devs horrible, stupid, idiotic decisions 😂
I wouldn't even call that a fuckup. The banshee was outed by the coroner. Trying to make a deal with another neutral to get the win for your faction is a decent idea. Especially with the chance the inquisitor was lying to save themself. That situation was basically a loss unless you got someone to misplay or made a deal but this situation was just completely unwinnable.
The Jackal tried to make a Jackals+Inq 4v4 , but Inq already claimed to have Banshee, one of the outed Recruits, and him, as a Heretic While it was a lie about the jackal being the target target, killing the recruits still means a 20% Chance the real target also dies

That means they're claiming Deputy. In BToS2 Deputy can only shoot people which appear sus to the Sheriff and don't have defense. In all other cases it misses.
Even if you are their Heretic, they can't kill you directly. They have to convince town to vote you, which can buy a day for your recruits to live. I don't know why they decided to claim it in this game, but there is at least one scenario where it could be beneficial to you, I guess.

It likely started as someone being toxic on some major channel, but now it's just a comment to leave when you aren't sure what to say that drives interaction for the algorithm. I doubt any creator will feel like they "fell off" when people click on their video within half a minute of it going up, and I'm sure the folks leaving the comment know that too, especially with it showing how early they arrived to the video lol It's the new "first", but comments are comments and that interaction supports the video!
