- Last weekend we stayed for 3 days in Knokke to visit the 2018 Zoute Grand Prix. There was a Zoute GT Tour on Sunday which is a rally with lots of supercars younger than 20 years old. The GT Tour stopped in Knokke-Heist to do a speed test. In this video you can see most of the participating cars accelerating.

He is putting his hand in front of the windscreen where it's easier for the drivers to clearly see him counting down. He is using his fingers to count down from 5, and when he gets to 0 (zero), the driver then accelerates away. You can watch his fingers counting down here : 0:54 , 2:36 , 4:14 , 4:28 , 4:44 , 5:07 ,

Seems the R8 near the beginning (@00:41) has the best balance of smooth, violent and clean in its sound.
Lots of these are great but either too much, or barely off. That R8 NAILS the sound I'd be looking for.
Props to the owner on his good taste, granted we already can tell he has good taste with the best daily driver supercar you can buy anywhere.

I thought porsches were small cars compared to lambos but when I saw one in person in BGC manila it was actually quite big
That little turn they have to do at the end is dangerous if you're in an older car that doesn't have modern electronic aids. The SLR looked really unstable making that turn under braking and every time a saw an older Porsche I was expecting someone to fishtail out of control.
