One day when you get famous and I sincerely hope you will, I hope you remember where you started, it’s frustrating but keep it up it will get better, to good times ahead 🍻
i've been simracing for a long time now and i'm finally upgrading it to a full sim rig. Thrustmaster is a good starter gear, my first 2 wheels have been from them, i now have a moza r5... Hope you enjoy it as much as i did!
@Spikey_Garage Between the Thrustmaster T300 & Moza R5 the biggest difference in terms of feel is that Moza is a direct drive (DD) wheelbase so it's much smoother as your steering wheel is attached pretty much directly to the motor's shaft (almost like in a real car) instead of the steering column having the motor's power be transmitted through belts & cogs like all belt-driven wheelbases which also gives you a more detailed feeling of the ingame effects
Good start, I recently also started sim racing and got the G29. the T300 is definitely a better choice. We stumble a lot in life but as long as we stand up and keep going, all will be alright. You will definitely enjoy drifting with sim racing gears and perhaps it will definitely help you get good at it. It is a safe way to train. Careful you may fall into the rabbit hole of Sim racing with all the games, mods, and gears... hehe. Good luck with your journey!
Hey dude, Its great you bought the TLCM pedals because the default pedals which come with the T300 are cheeks 😂. Your channel has a lot of potential! Good luck on your drifting journey! 🏁
for the monitor, try using a display cable, since it doesnt flicker + it gives you the option to use higher hertz, i hope this helps, and you got yourself a new subscriber
Let the journey begin! Believe me it gets crazy. You will find yourself in a few months upgrading to dd. Believe me. But the t300rs is a fantastic belt wheel for fun. Next get maybe the fanatec csl dd pro 8nm with the csl elite v2 or the v3 pedals from fanatec. Now listen real loasd cells are very stiff so expect that. It helps with trail braking and consistency. Since it's based on the force you don't need to worry about travel. But enjoy man amazing journey. I went from cswv2.5 to csl dd pro. The 5nm wasn't close to as good as the 8nm. I actually felt like the csl dd was a downgrade at first until I got the 8nm since the cswv2.5 is like 7nm. But yeah then I went to the dd+, then the sinagic ultimate, then I am now with the asetek invicta 27nm. Have a good bit of wheels. Legit just bought another gsi wheel today thats on the way. The gxl v2. Love the x29 for more budget friendly entry into really high end wheels. Still pricey. But yeah man loving my journey can't wait to see yours! 😉 its a huge rabbit hole but don't give up! Don't quit from being overwhelmed by learning. Some do that if they don't get crazy fast in the amount of time they want. Just enjoy and don't worry. But listen when you get a rig it changes everything! Changes the feel the immersion and even the ease of driving. When everything is connected it's just a different feeling.
Have you switched display cables on your monitor already? That could be an issue too btw. Also thats a nice rig, those T-LCM pedals are pretty good, I own the same shifter and pedals, used to have the same wheel before I switched to a TS-XW Racer, they are pretty good wheels.
Yes, I even switched to HDMI cable, still the same issue persisted. Thanks, as I am still a beginner, the setup should be good for a while until I get more money😀
To fix the Flickering on your montior press Win + crtl + shift + b, this will reset your grapichs card and the screen will go blank for a few moments, i have this glitch myself, hope you see this comment and it fixes your problem :)
@Spikey_Garage thats a great deal woww! Love your videos I think you should review more about the steering wheel i loved the editing. Maybe add some gameplay next time of you trying it
im going to get a steering wheel as well im getting a pxn v99 and im also going to post videos on sim racing so maybe one day we can collaborate i know i only did one video on a different game months ago but i changed my mind on what i want to post hope u read this comment!!
Yeha, simracing accessory pricing has gone up in the last few years... I've made a list of parts that would make up my future rig (so the frame itself + seat + accessories) & despite not using any high-end parts (low-ish to mid-end), it will still cost me 2000€ which is just insane
This channel could grow a lot in the future, best of luck on your journey.
Thank you very much... You do not know how much it means to me.. 🙏

@@Sithhy Some day I will definitely save up some money and invest into DD wheelbase once I get better at drifting. 😀 Thanks 👌

Thanks! There is definitely a lot to learn. I will need to look into this way deeper, didin't even understand half of the stuff you have written :D

@@naviydo thanks, the same issue is with the Displayport, so I guess the monitor ir bad🤷♂️

@Spikey_Garage is that a yes?
This is cheap?? This video is calling me poor in every way
Sim racing is expensive, in that case this is kinda budget side of it. Its like calling a 10k car cheap
@@cold_horizon Ok when you put it that way it makes more sense
Used market is your best friend. You can find some good deals, people often sell sim racing for a good deal
