I just recently got the game and even on the lowest settings, the game will run your gpu to over 82-85c. The game is poorly optimized. If you don't have a good cooling system, you're probably going to working your gpu quite a bit.
it's your gpu not the game. i play on ultra amd fsr and medium settings, the weather is 39 degree celcius and my pc has 4 small fans, gpu is at 74 degree at max. It's rx 580 8gb btw
@@oguzhan.erturk Strange... My gpu has been cleaned and everything. No dust inside it. And it doesn't seem to have any heating issues with any other game. I have a 1080 ti. Others seem to have the same issues with heat as well. You might be the exception somehow.
@@oguzhan.erturk 74 degrees is definitely not less. Also, there is no AMD FSR on Nvidia builds. It gets to 60 at the lowest settings on 1660. Otherwise it's constantly 50 fps at 73 degrees. It's definitely the game, it's not optimised, which is normal for an Early Access game.
@@yamchayaku it's definitely the game dude. My 1660 can't go 60 with medium settings. And the temps stay at 74 throughout.
I'm a bit late, but its definitely the game. I have a 3080 and run at steady 35-60 fps
I have a 1080 and AMD FSR is not enabled for me? Is there an update I need to download?
Anyone else experiencing this? Game runs fantastic but the moment you enter combat everything starts bugging out? I have my settings maxed out and its fine, but once an NPC engages me in combat I start lagging hard
I pulled my 12 graveyards which had 3 skeletons priests each.... they summoned their skeletons. The lag was real AF

Hm why does AMD FSr 1.0 got greyed out and automaticly get set to off when i am Taking Anti-Aliasing from TAA to off?
in youre video Ultra Quality isnt changed to off and got greyed out after turning Anti-Aliasing off ?

maybe there are some launching presets that could even improve the in game fps. Am I right?

For steam there should be some basic launch parameters for all games to disable certain graphical settings entirely, but I know from experience this causes issues with a lot of games I tried it on due to it being a hidden feature rather than a game setting, and developers don't typically plan for those parameters to be used.
Otherwise, if you have an Nvidia graphics card, you could always use it to control any game's graphics:
> Right click anywhere on your Desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel.
> Check the left side of the screen for "3D Settings" and select "Manage 3D Settings" below it.
> Now you have text that says "I would like to use the following 3D settings:"
> Select "Program Settings" next to Global Settings.
> It will ask you to select a program to customize, find V Rising in the dropdown menu and select it.
- Now you'll see a crapton of settings. The Nvidia control panel should tell you what each setting does if you hover over the text in question like Antialiasing, and you can manually select settings for the game that often overrides the ingame settings, so it should always take priority.

I've got an i3 motherboard with 12gbRAM and a 1050 GTX graphics card, this setup, if you don't know, is very VERY old, easily 12+ years old, and the parts aren't new, they're as aged as the products themselves. I run this game with 0 microstutters when it gets going. The only time it stutters is when loading into the world, specifically loading in near player-build structures or massive towns, and when it's done, it's lag free. Loading boss animations on first encounters also creates minor stutters for like, a second.

@@datboy27uhoh oh dw after the latest update, there are tons of new problems that my 13+ year old system cannot handle.
Not FPS issues though. Latency. Seems the game forces even solo 1 player servers to connect to a listening server, which did not launch without an internet connection. I've tried hosting offline, the game simply crashes. I do not have FPS issues, just tons and tons of rubberbanding.
latency is fine for me. Got lag one time, relogging fixed the issue.@@sockpuppermcgee7920
