I have the exact one on my Tracer 7 GT and it has big disadvantage: each time I open it, the handle that controls bag mount to the bike opens as well. So, I have to push that handle when I close the bag, so the bag won’t stay unlocked. This extra hustle wasn’t presented on another Givi bag…
Hello,I own Yamaha's new 45-liter top box, model number BBW-F840E-12, produced by Yamaha and Givi.However, there is a serious defect with this product. It seems that in an effort to reduce weight, the entire structure has been made too thin. The lid of the top box is so thin that it slightly crumples when shaken by hand.Once installed on the bracket, the product deforms according to the bracket's securing force. As a result, the lid and the bottom part of the top case misalign, preventing the lid from locking properly.Due to this issue, Yamaha's branch in Korea advises that the lid must be closed very firmly, unlike with other products.The plastic material of this new top case is so thin and flimsy that it deforms when pressed by hand, causing the lid to misalign.The previous model, 34B-F84A8-10-00, was made of much thicker plastic, which prevented deformation from installation tension or hand pressure.Therefore, I am sending this email to both the manufacturer, Givi, and Yamaha.Please re-evaluate if the plastic was made too thin in an effort to reduce weight, resulting in overall shape deformation. If an improved product is released, please notify me through a recall or contact me

this top case is too thin..when you mount to bracket. tension makes this top case shape deformation. so cant close the case . or hard to close

yes, you can use the new top case on your current rear carrier. It is backward compatible :-)

Wszystkie kufry ,maja wadę .Nie domykają się do końca duży luz i podczas jazdy aż wstyd tak słychać .Po boku jednym palcem odchylisz kufer a co dopiero rękoma .Yamaha wstyd .W salonie reklamowałem i co nic tak ma być. Kufer sprzedany . Nie polecam
