Don't get me wrong. I'm grateful you guys are still updating the machine all these years later. I just don't understand how a synth cannot be processed through the same hardware.
faaaantastic! the added routing options for guitar/vocal and bluetooth connection thru powering cycles were at the top of my list. the added synth fx were a great surprise and same with the distortion. Lovely to see continued development - well done HeadRush team!!!
THEY GOT THE MORNING GLORY!!! The last pedal I purchased before the Prime. Such a bummer I didn't get to clone it properly. SO HAPPY WITH THIS UPDATE. Y'all rock!
As soon as I turned on my Prime, it said Firmware Update available. And it just brought a Big ol smile to my face. This is Crazy! Piano on my Bass? Lol
That synth really works. I love everything about the HeadRush Core. I use it for guitar, vocals, and especially Setar. Thanks to all the HeadRush geniuses.
Especially with the full sized unit. The UI is nice and works well, but the convenience of the computer editor would be great. I think it would bring in more users.
3 months later, they delivered on that front too! Shame a lot of users choose to focus instead on how they're "leaving legacy owners in the lurch". Give it a rest, people, the legacy platform had a great 7-year run (counting from the Pedalboard) but this stuff does eventually become obsolete hardware-wise. MX5 was running old hardware when it *launched*.
@@JohnvanCapel I don't disagree. And, the old hardware still does what it did before the new one was released, so if you liked what it was doing, it still does that. And they do want to drive new sales with a new product, so that doesn't bother me as much.
I am so psyched to try out these new synth presets and especially glad to hear them fixed the Bluetooth connectivity problem and made it possible to keep Bluetooth on through on/off cycles.
Hell yeah! Can you please add the ability to record multiple loops for instant playback while I'm playing a song? That would put this unit way ahead of most fx units. Think boss rc-600/500.

Great new I've been creating synth sad just using the headrush stock effects for a while just look at my ambient playlist on my channel however with these new effects will open a whole lot of interesting sounds for me now. Best wishes 🎶🎶🎶🎶😊😊😊😊
I'm really glad that Headrush is still alive! 😂 I thought the company had given up (due to a lack of response in the forum). Great new features, I'll test them out when I get the chance. What bothered me (and I'm sure many others) the most were the missing MIDI features. Are there any improvements in this area too?
I noticed that when I turn on Again Delay, the volume of the preset rises by about 2db, and the sound of the entire preset becomes brighter. Pleas fix this!
This is great. Looking forward to playing with all this. Any idea if there will ever be a Mac version of the Prime App to create rigs then download direct to the Prime? Lastly, it would be nice to create custom paths instead of being locked into the ones that are there. Love the product! And Duncan, love your playing style!
I don't have a prime/core, but an mx-5. The synth seems like a lot of fun, but I guess that prime/core users will welcome the new paths more, at least the ones who use the vocal part.
If headrush doesn't want to make a software editor maybe they could mirror the screen via USB out to a tablet/screen monitor so I could manipulate the settings on a desk or at eye level so I won't have to bend over and reach for the floor constantly to change settings I think that's the problem most people have in regards to wanting the software editor. Am I right about this?
I just received my Headrush Core and it states 3.2 . But , none of the Revalver amps are available. The cabs come up. This is my first effects unit, and I ordered it after researching and wanted something that was easy to use. Do i need to update the unit again? Please advise
Hi, have you added the option to split/pan the outputs so that you can have two mono xlr and two mono jack outputs. These routing options would allow users to send different signals (guitars and vocals) to mixers and real amps in live situations. This would make this machine the perfect one for singers (and doesn’t really matter if you loose the stereo options). Thanks!!!
I just looked into this. Along with prime/cores update today, the mx5 also got 2.7 which adds the glorious drive pedal and the white bass wah but NOT the synth, electric piano and organ effects that are present in this video. I'm very disappointed about this
For Pedalboard, Gigboard, and MX5 users, update 2.7 delivers three new FX (Glorious Drive, White Bass Wah, Ten Freq EQ). We’ve also added a few minor bug fixes and DSP optimizations.
Has anyone tried sending midi notes to a harmonizer processor? It switches effects and pedals via midi just fine. But when I send notes, there is no reaction I want to use this for vocals so I don't have to create an endless number of presets

I was a Headrush user for 4 years, I have now moved over to Fractal (having a desktop editor now makes things so fast and even easier) Biggest downside to Headrush no desktop editor👎🏾
@@joshuazoil I also have a Line 6 Helix so I understand how the desktop editor is so helpful. I might just have to spring for the Quad Cortex after their last update. Smaller form factor, powerful, and sounds terrific.
I have now installed the new firmware. I was very horrified to see that nothing has been improved regarding the missing MIDI(out) implementation. It's a shame, maybe we could organize crowd funding to help Headrush make the device and in particular the insert path really useful? I ordered an H9 along with the Core because I knew that the reverbs and delays on the Core aren't that great (I didn't expect that either). But unfortunately I can't really switch programs comfortably because each MIDI PC can only be used once (which is completely impractical!). Or could Headrush release the firmware as open source? The question is how to get in touch with someone from Headrush, which seems to be very difficult (see forum...). My sad solution is to rip the H9 off the board, use the Core alone and do without the good effects. I would have been better off buying the ToneX pedal, which sounds better and is much cheaper. I actually only bought the Core because of the loop, but unfortunately you can't really use it if you can't switch the presets when the effect is looped in (unless you always use the same effect or you always have to switch 2 switches or the effect doesn't have MIDI anyway). Or is there a hidden miracle solution?
Still no software or app? I dunno why headrush is so struggle to making an editing software/app for it. Even the cheap china brands like mooer, valeton, m-vave, flamma have editing software. Some of them even have phone edit app that can connect via bluetooth.

The latency that comes with these new effects is a big problem, which makes them useless for rehearsals and gigs.

No. Autotune is currently controlled via the actual internal settings. Thanks!
@HeadRushFX gotcha, so best course of action would be to use the chromatic setting or to make a new scene for each new key that's used in our set?
